It was new to me too, though I saw it posted in the "Pittsburgh" thread. Over 8,000 people showed up to audition, I think someone mentioned here that they got an email saying they need MORE people.

All the purple should be black. All the blue should be a darkish gray. And the red on the gun should be ice blue.

He'd look so much better.

They released one back in 2007 as a NY Comic Con exclusive. He's gotten a couple of repaints since but this particular one is pricey.

Yurka, I believe, posted that some pages back - but it might have gone overlooked.
Interesting. They make it quite clear they need a lot of men, and seem to suggest there will be a significant amount of bad guys on screen..prisoners I guess.
Pittsburgh must be pretty excited about this.

Heh yeah that was me. After the first round of open casting last weekend (in which about 5000 people showed up) I believe everyone who attended received an email that said they're still looking for more men(even though of the 5000 who showed up roughly 75% were men)

Yea, initially they wanted to use the Mellon/Civic arena but couldn't get permission to blow it up, so word on the street now is that they'll be filming at Heinz field (where the Steelers play)

So I'm putting the finishing touches on a fun little announcement teaser for TDKR, and I'm in a bit of a pickle: upload it for fans to hopefully enjoy (it certainly gets me pumped for how minimal it is), or stage a fake bootleg and cryptically pass it around the net?

You guys can be my conscience on this one.
