The Bat's are in the standard .97 basic Hot Wheels cars assortments (the ones in huge dump bins, or in full peg rows).

Other notable stores that carry Hot Wheels:

Dollar General


not too many of the scalpers check those 2 stores, as they just assume they dont carry hot wheels

Yes, I've noticed the same...Ra's and Al are close to $50 on the "big river" site, followed by Gordon for close to $40.

Well, apparently Wal-Marts around here are still getting MM shipments. There was a Blake at one WM earlier in the week, and today there was a Bane at a different WM. It is the first Bane I've seen around here since the one I bought back in July. Didn't see the Bat, though.

On a side note, Krogers has marked down their Batman stuff. I picked up a 1:50 Camo Tumbler for 5 dollars. It was originally 8. I didn't dare dig in their giant bin for the smaller scale Bat....that thing was almost as tall as I was! I was like 'man, this is impossible!'

Just found the most elusive toy I've ever encountered: The Bat from Hotwheels.

One of my local Target stores had just ONE. And it was right there in plain sight amongst the rows of Hotwheels, and I must have looked over the thing multiple times before I realized what I was staring at.

I totally used to be one of those 1 to open and 1 MOC people. But I realized I wasn't *ever* gonna sell any of my stuff anyway (I have a couple of different collections). So the money I saved by not buying two of everything, I was able to drop on some Hot Toys. Plus, I just straight up ran out of room, lol!

lol! i think almost everyone here finally got one. one of the comic shops on amazon had 5 for $48.99 after the 16.99 sold out, and by the end of the day they had 2. that means 3 people actually over payed. so sad

I dont keep any MOC either, theres no point to keeping it in the box unless you think it will increase in value (chase figures etc.) i just love to open the figures and really admire them!

I used to be like that too! I chalked it up to being slightly OCD (must...have completely untouched....items! ) But I got myself over it by using the money to get even more stuff that I had wanted anyway. But I totally understand where you are coming from. I just broke myself from it!
