Just saw a better quality bootleg. But WB is being so ****ing stupid at this point. It's just about midnight, release the damn trailer is HD already. Why do they want so many fans to see a ****** bootleg first? What do they get out of waiting?

More money for Sherlock Holmes' opening.

I didn't think of it the first 10 times i saw the prologue (yeah i caved and got the bootleg copy lol) but it would make sense and be kinda funny.


Also am i the only one who thinks Batman Blind Justice (the graphic novel that introduced Henri Ducard) might have an influence on the story because in the graphic novel this exchange takes place

Barely, if any at this point. They know so many Batfans have already seen bootleg versions (WB has been taking them down left and right), so that decreases the number of people who would have seen Sherlock Holmes purely for the trailer. It's about to be midnight which means folks have already committed to midnight showings, even though there is a higher quality bootleg floating around tonight.

So why not post it up online for the sake of preserving the awesome quality of their tentpole franchise?

Yeah, the local one for me is the Dublin one. When my gf and I went to the San Francisco one we both agreed the Dublin one was pretty much the same size. I just don't think the picture quality is different enough to want to make the trek back to the city at midnight.

Sorry to jump in, but I live near the Dublin IMAX also. 5 minutes away actually. I called and verified today that their IMAX if in fact Digital. The employee was telling me that most IMAX's are converting to Digital? I did not know that.

The IMAX in SF at Metreon must be 65/70mm film. I wonder what the Emeryville IMAX is?

The Ninjas are repelling down into the prison! That means that big hole leads into the prison. Watch the trailer full screen. At 1:46 pause it. That's the prison, or where ever Bruce and that guy are. Same stairs and everything. What in the world is going on in this movie? So Bruce is in some kind of big underground prison?

@Dark_Knight The AMC in Emeryville has digital IMAX and the screen isn't anywhere near as big as the one in Dublin let alone the one in SF.

SF is the only one in the bay area still with actual 70mm . The next one would be in San Jose.

Dublin though still has the same exact screen size but their projectors have been converted to digital is all. So SF and Dublin would be the places to go watch TDKR.

Batman standing on the steps looks so ****ing awesome! He looks so ready to fight Bane, unlike in the teaser when he's backing away. I love it.

The Metreon IMAX is my favorite IMAX in the country I wish I had one similar back east here.
