Oh, no I completely agree with what you were saying t: When I saw it, I felt the intention of the sequence was really to show how Bane equals (or, really, surpasses, IMO) Batman.

Bats' skyhook was impressive, but you could argue Bane did it with more oomph. He had major gusto. And a whole lotta swag.

I got your point. Usually I'm not the type that would analyze this kind of stuff because it's just speculation. Whether or not it was what Nolan intended, it just looked like a recycled scene to me.
