Alright... both of you missed the point of my post I guess.

Oh, no I completely agree with what you were saying :woot: When I saw it, I felt the intention of the sequence was really to show how Bane equals (or, really, surpasses, IMO) Batman.

Bats' skyhook was impressive, but you could argue Bane did it with more oomph. He had major gusto. And a whole lotta swag.

Bane's is better, no doubt. Bats did it from a building, whereas Bane did it from a crashing plane.

Just saw the trailer with SH!

I've seen the bootleg, but I still lost my breath..

The whole theater was like "look, Catwoman!"

The risk factor is far greater that much is for sure. Not to mention it was against the CIA who I would imagine are more experienced than Laos thugs or hired cops.

That's not Alfred. That's the actor Tom Conti.

Ah okay thanks. I just watched the trailer again and I can tell that it is him. They sign so many people (a handful of them I never heard of before) that it's hard to keep track of everybody.

Of course.

I got your point. Usually I'm not the type that would analyze this kind of stuff because it's just speculation. Whether or not it was what Nolan intended, it just looked like a recycled scene to me.

I just saw a bootleg that had an audience reaction. It sounded like the entire theater went wild, the someone shouted out "thank you Nolan!" lol

Somebody tell the guy that Nolan wasn't there and he was actually thanking a movie screen.

I watched the same bootleg. I heard a couple people laugh after the guy shouted that.

Yeah one of the earlier bootlegs has a guy who's essentially losing his mind.

"Oh man It's really happening" (verbatim) in a shivering/trembling voice full of excitement.

"When Gotham is ashes, you have my permission to die."

Epicsauce
