Okay, I'm going to say it. I don't understand the negative reaction online to this trailer and more specifically the "football" moment. Does it really look goofy?

Frankly, and I mean no disrespect here, this trailer nails the Avengers trailer's balls to the wall. How anyone can be up for that film with the trailer they released and not be up for this film with this trailer is beyond me...

I agree, I think it fits well, plus I doubt the CGI in that shot is far from finished. Im eager for the avengers but there trailers so far havent been up there with these.

I don't understand the complaining about the football scene being cheesy either. It makes perfect sense for Bane to attack during a high profile event, and more to the point an event where even those who aren't well-off will be present. And it looks honestly creepy rather than cheesy to me.

Fantastic trailer. Pfister work is always amazing. That JGL shot looks awesome.

With the 8 year gap info , there's so many possibilities watching the trailer. Im getting the vibe that Nolan is going once again to a non linear structure or else...this is looking like to be a very long movie .

I think the negative reaction is just people not liking it as much as the TDK trailers. Not that this means that the TDKR trailer is a BAD trailer...We just are holding it to a high standard (that of TDK). And that's not a standard that we necessarily hold the Avengers too.

(Haven't seen the Avengers trailer, nor do I really care, but I can believe that people aren't going to hold it to the standard of TDK, while people most certainly WILL automatically compare this trailer to the TDK trailers)
