Your confusing majority with vocal minority. And the vocal minority, no matter how much they scream, never effect a films box office. Dark Phoenix is just hot Fox garbage. The hate of that x-women line is just an excuse to try to rationalize their bias.

The movie is great. Not garbage at all.
I hated that x-women line but that didn't change my view of the movie as a whole.
What I meant is that for the casual moviegoer who see a scene like that even before watching the movie, that might make not to want to see the movie at all because they'll think that the movie will be a **** just like that scene. Which is not the case. The movie is awesome despite of that bad line.

Some more bad news. Remember when the Worldwide total was said to be $140Mil, based on with $107 with that from Overseas (ie. non US/Canada)?

Overseas number is lower at $103.7Mil. Worldwide total for the weekend is $136.5Mil.

Eh, the line isn't horrible in context. She's clearly saying it out of frustration with Charles. It's still not worse than "You know what happens to a toad..."

Well if we are looking at the movie going audience it is like 95% either hate or apathy. So this thread is pretty accurate.

I thought the line was horribly delivered...but that's mainly because J-law was phoning in most of the movie, from what I've heard. (I ain't watching this crap!) Although as a line it could have been played for humor...we'll never know, as it wasn't done by an actress who was trying. Could have been powerful, or it could have been funny.

Not as funny as the horrible reviews for this film.

Or it's pathetic box office.

Or the hundreds of things wrong with the dumpster fire of a film.
