A new Lex post with wide-reaching impact is up!
How is the hierachy of Checkmate layed out? I mean, how many pawns are there?
I don't think the League should be made for quite a while yet to be honest, nearing the end of the season (if the season has an 'event' that is), which'll give reason for the JLA to be brought together.
We also need to sort out who's in Checkmate by the way? (if anyone isn't familiar the hiearchy goes like this)
Black King:
Black Queen:
Black King's Bishop:
Black Queen's Bishop:
Black King's Knight:
Black Queen's Knight:
White King:
White Queen:
White King's Bishop:
White Queen's Bishop:
White King's Knight:
White Queen's Knight:
For every meta-human in the hiearchy there has to be a human, Black = Operations, White = Intel.
Well, I did suggest that Metahumans working for law enforcement or government agencies or with powers that couldn't be classified as dangerous in any way would be exempt, and I hope that we use that. Anyway, here's what I was thinking for the Checkmate line up:
Black King: Slade Wilson
Black Queen: Vera Black
Black King's Bishop: Ulysses Hadrian Armstrong
Black Queen's Bishop: Manitou Dawn
Black King's Knight: Rose Wilson
Black Queen's Knight: Cassandra Cain
White King: Garfield Logan
White Queen: Cassandra Sandsmark
White King's Bishop: Victor Stone
White Queen's Bishop: Donna Troy
White King's Knight: Bart Allen
White Queen's Knight: Cissie King-Jones
And still way too many familiar people.
I've thought about this a lot, and I'm going to have to (temporarily) resign from the RPGs that I'm in here. This is my final exam year, and I realised this week how hard I'm going to have to work to get everything done. As much as I'd love to stay here with my characters and all of you fantastic RPers, it wouldn't be fair to give you half-assed blocks of text which barely even constitute as a post. So, I'm afraid it's a see ya later from me...![]()
Okay, I know I'm leaving all the other RPGs, but I'm sticking with this one. I've got so many plans that I can't abandon.
