I was kinda hoping Captain Atom (General Adam by now) would be Checkmate's Black King, but trusty kinda messed those plans up by putting him in jail.

How is the hierachy of Checkmate layed out? I mean, how many pawns are there?

As many pawns as you want. Those are just soldiers. But what I'm wanting to discuss is the hierarchy:

I don't think the League should be made for quite a while yet to be honest, nearing the end of the season (if the season has an 'event' that is), which'll give reason for the JLA to be brought together.

We also need to sort out who's in Checkmate by the way? (if anyone isn't familiar the hiearchy goes like this)

Black Queen:
Black King's Bishop:
Black Queen's Bishop:
Black King's Knight:
Black Queen's Knight:

White King:
White Queen:
White King's Bishop:
White Queen's Bishop:

For every meta-human in the hiearchy there has to be a human, Black = Operations, White = Intel.

Well, I did suggest that Metahumans working for law enforcement or government agencies or with powers that couldn't be classified as dangerous in any way would be exempt, and I hope that we use that. Anyway, here's what I was thinking for the Checkmate line up:

That was the list Q originally suggested. A few pages in more, and some things were asked to be added and removed, but nothing was finalized.

I think that's a pretty good idea, as long as at least some of them have some sort of connection with the DCU.

BTW, Black King's Bishop can't be Cobblepot. I've set him up as a senile old man reduced to living in an old folk's home. Nigma looks after him.

Nothing major, just been trying to get it back on its feet. Some new apps, people posting again.

Aquaman's son has been arrested, and I wanted a hero or two to save him, but that is not working out it seems.

But, MST3K and I have a few ideas, pertaining to his latest post. Other than those things...nothing major. You were here for that Memorial Post by Karem and MST3K, right? So I suppose that is a third thing you missed as far as big things.

I've thought about this a lot, and I'm going to have to (temporarily) resign from the RPGs that I'm in here. This is my final exam year, and I realised this week how hard I'm going to have to work to get everything done. As much as I'd love to stay here with my characters and all of you fantastic RPers, it wouldn't be fair to give you half-assed blocks of text which barely even constitute as a post. So, I'm afraid it's a see ya later from me...
