Do you think they gonna put WW as a priority for the new Universe of DCU or we'll need another 40 years for the next WW?
Do you think they may consider replacing Wonder Woman for a different Superheroine for the JL and the DCU. Someone Gunn might feel more comfortable with for the kind of heroes he prefers?
I think the casting of WW will be a priority, not least because it's potentially one of the hardest. I certainly don't think they'll bench her. Gadot has given her such a high profile for a new generation, as well as the female role model and representation aspect. But I could see Gunn looking to raise the profile of other female heroes. Hopefully Hawkgirl will get a big push, and I'd like a fresh (more comics accurate) version of Black Canary

Zaslav wants WW a priority so, we'll get another Wonder Woman in the next ten years at most, but I do think they should hold off rebooting WW and Aquaman right away, and focus on Superman , Green Lantern, Flash , and other characters first, meaning the first few years of the new DCU.

Why? The earliest a WW reboot could come out is in 2025, which is a full 5 years after WW 84. That's a bigger time-gap than the jump from Maguire to Garfield and Garfield to Holland.

Since we're talking about my preference as opposed to someone else's, I would prefer they focus on Superman, Green Lantern, and some other characters other than WW and Aquaman in the first few years worth of films.

That may not be your preference , but that's mine.

Give WW and Aquaman some breathing room before trying to re-introduce reboot solo films .
What's the rush in having a rebooted Wonder Woman film anyway?

Superman I get , and other characters who haven't had films yet I can get .

2025 is an unlikely anyway for WW reboot imo , and that will probably be a Superman date.

If WW comes out in 2028 or 2029, what would be so wrong with that ?

I get there are fans who may want a WW reboot sooner, but what would be wrong with a Wonder Woman film in 2028 or 2029?

We don't know what Gunn's plan's are at this point , and it may turn out that a WW reboot is in 2028 or 2029 anyway.

If there is a ten year plan , that means there's no rush to have a WW reboot film out of the gate.

I have no idea of course, but I would bet WW will prolly be at least #2 or #3 in the slate.
She may even cameo ( again ) before a solo film is made.

It's possible, but even if it's 2 or 3 on the slate , that in itself may be a few years off as opposed to 2025 or 2024.

I think that we'll get a Superman film in 2025 at the earliest, and I'd be surprised if they tried to get a Wonder Woman , Aquaman or Batman films in production in enough time to also be released in 2025 .

Yeah, You said it better than I.
I'm trying to be diplomatic but I don't think she's a priority atm..

What are the chances of the Flash Movie becoming a Flashpoint Adaptation? i think it would be the best option at this point and you would make the audience to understand that the Old DC Universe is over

Well, if we're to believe various alleged leaks and spoilers,

The film is kinda of a Flashpoint adaptation which was meant to establish a new status Quo with Michael Keaton as the DCEU Batman, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl , thus relegating Batfleck and Cavill to an alternate universe.

But the universe altering ending was before Zaslav and Co took over and reshoots began . Given the recent rumors that cameos have been cut ,it's unclear how The Flash film will leave the Snyderverse, but it won't serve as a transition to the Gunnverse.

Apparently they don't want to spend anymore money trying to adjust the story of The Flash to set up the Gunnverse.

It pretty much is one. They just replaced Thomas Wayne Batman with Michael Keaton's 1989 movie Bruce Wayne Batman, basically. Its the same premise.

Whats the latest test screening saying about the movie?
It was long planned as some form of Flashpoint and until they hired Gunn/Safran it seemed to be the new universe going forward.
But now, the plan seems to have changed.

It makes the movie very interesting because how do they end it, do they really end it on building a new universe that in the end leads to absolutely nothing?
Or do they leave it open to fit into the new reboot?

They could end it like Apokolips War
Flash runs and everything just whites out. You don't see what comes next.
That wouldn't commit them to anything and they could take their time deciding on what's next, as they did with the animated Tomorrowverse.

Looks horrendously cheap. I know lighting is important, but images like this rather suggest it was a good idea to can the film. I thought we were moving on from the rubber wet suit look?

Set photos of Black Panther's suit in Civil War looked way worse than this and that ended up looking just fine in the film. So I wouldn't judge off of this.

Even if the movie was awful canning it would still be one of the worst and most insulting things a major film studio has ever done.

I actually like it. I remember seeing early shots of Bale's TDK suit and thinking it looked rough, but with the right lighting and in context it looked fine. This reminds me a lot of that. Batgirl may have been utter crap (we'll probably never know), but I certainly wouldn't call this suit one of the problems.

That suit looks like a cheap purple version of the jigsaw suit.

The more I hear about the Batgirl movie, the more it sounds like a really expensive pilot for a CW TV series that didn't get picked up.

What's the consensus here re Zachary Levi? Is he out? I hear he's been saying it's all good and that he's still in, but there's a lot of speculation he's saying that just because of the promotion machine kicking in for Fury of the Gods.

I imagine Shazam 2 won't perform well, and WB will have no plans to bring him back to the big screen anytime soon, making the question of "in" or "out" irrelevant. Same goes for Black Adam.

For now i guess they focus on the Shazam 2 release, after that...it comes down to how the movie performs.

Weird, i saw a video from him like a week ago saying he had no idea what was going on or if he was staying on or not but that he respects what's Gunn's doing regardless. Sounded to me like he knew he was out, tbh. Of course they wouldn't announce such a thing until after the movie's out so as not to sabotage its prospects.
