If true I'll be officially be in board with this new universe.

The transition could have been better and part of me wants dc to stick to standalones but if we get characters like this on the front stage count me in !

Their specialty seems to be edgy, gory, The Suicide Squad-esque kind of stuff. Could see them doing a Lobo project, or something JL Dark maybe?

Side note: I hope "chapters" is what they're actually dubbing these phases of films.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see JL Dark before we see JL.

I'm the first one to spit on shared universes, multiverses and all that stuff (mainly because I don't like how it has been approach until now) but if this whole project ends up being some kind of miracle of putting weirder, more confidential characters in the hands of weirder, more confidential creators... I might start to think about wanting to eventually believe in it. Partially.

Supposedly. When Gunn and Safran took over it was announced that it was essentially being sent back to the drawing board to be retooled as a John Stewart vehicle (instead of focusing on multiple lanterns in different eras as it originally was).
