I was thinking... With just one movie Andy Muschietti has equalled Joel Schumacher in directing two different actors as Batman. Except, Muschietti has gone one better - he managed to direct three different actors as Bruce Wayne! And if he stays onboard for The Brave and the Bold he'll make that three different Batman's and four Bruce Waynes! Will this record ever be beaten??

I mean I hope not, as the need for that arose from the failure of a cinematic universe.

I don’t see a reason shared universes can’t work. Marvel did it for years, Star Wars does it. I know some people are vehemently against it but the fact is we’re looking at Batman and MAYBE Superman films taking turns with Reboots if it doesn’t work this time, no Terrifics, no Lanterns, no Swamp Thing, No Flash and probably no Wonder Woman.

You don’t have to love every decision getting made but if you enjoy DC comics characters this is probably the best Chance you’re going to get in seeing them on screen, at least for the next 10-15 years. I’m 23 now so hopefully either way I’ll be here to enjoy it.

Agreed, the offshoot of a successful DC shared universe could be that lots of potentially great (but not-guaranteed-to-be-hits) projects that otherwise wouldn't ever see the light of day could have a chance. Without that we are likely to only ever get things that have as high a likelihood as possible of a safe return after all the F ups of recent years.

He's also about the same age as Nathan Fillion. I've always imagined Hal, Guy, and John as being around the same age though John being younger than those two I think still works.

Same here. Lanterns and Superman: Legacy are the two projects I'm looking forward to the most.

Not a fan of Tatum. It would be a minus for me.

Kevin Smith has been trying to get a question project going for a long time. I hope he at least gets to pitch. But my top choice would be Jordan Peele and Lakeith Stanfield.

As a huge Question fan I'm not sure anything would be more demoralizing than finding it that we're finally getting an adaptation and it's Kevin Smith. God love the poor, sweet, untalented man.

Peele and Stanfield would be wild. Can't imagine that ever happening but it would be incredible.

Yeah its sort of a pipe dream duo that I have in mind for the Question. Even if Peele was producing or show running on it. I think Stanfield would crush it. Not that I believe it's likely at all.

I don’t want him to do The Question but Clerks III was genuinely fantastic. Total tearjerker- very sad yet sweet movie. It made me cry a lot in a good way.

The Question would give a chance to show a lot of unique stuff and ward off any early repetitive cookie-cutter product concerns the GA might have with another new universe. Would be cool if this one was true and got confirmed.
