Van Damme had a reality tv series, I never knew of it.. It was actually pretty good.

Yeah I really liked it,I stumbled on to one episode by accident and wished I had seen it earlier,I wish there were more new episodes(why did it stop anyway?)and even though JCVD still seems to have a pretty big ego/a *****e and a cry baby for some things.....I'm still a fan and wish him luck in his movie future after Expendables 2!!!

"you son of a *****!"

I think Weathers would win this arm wrestle now. Whats the matta Ah'nold..Caleeforneyuh got you pushing too many pencils?

Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, John Travolta, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke...who else? Of course, Bruce Willis. The director is Simon West, who is also a name. He is already here and has started working on the film. I believe the sequel will be better than the first movie.

All of this is awesome.

Damn, shame about Snipes. I thought I heard awhile back that he was out already but apparently he's in until July 2013? That sucks. :(

Maybe Snipes will have a chance if this becomes a trilogy... His Total Gym infomercials are still running on tv, I guess he took over for chuck norris.

For those who are interested, Netflix has Inferno: The making of The Expendables 90 minute feature on Instant Stream. It's the same one that comes on the Blu Ray. But for those who don't, check it out. It's pretty cool.

If anyone hasn't seen it, it is definitely worth it. I watched it on my Blu Ray copy and thought it was pretty interesting.

I don't mind Carl Weathers in the sequel, as long as he does the Arrested Development movie.

Yeah that documentary is great, may explain a bit why he decided not to direct part 2!!

Stalone looked pretty beat up and worn out by the time The Expendables finished up. He definitely was ready to handoff some of the duties.

With Stallone directing the Expendables, it had that little touch, that magic and charm to it. I don't want that to be lost in the second movie. We all know why we loved it so much, and I don't want Simon West turning it into just a typical Summer Blockbuster. I want the same feel as the first movie, with it's homage to 80's - 90's action movies. I want explosions to happen for no particular reason, and gun fights to be interrupted by fist fights.

Absolutely, it has to keep the look and feel of the first one. It needs that old school feel with the over the top action sequences and ... there's no such thing as too many explosions.

We're in safe hands. :awesome:

^I just hope the movie isnt as....I guess OTT....is what I'm looking to say as Con-Air, the OTT suited that movie, but The Expendables seemed a bit more reality based so I hope West keeps that feel.

Con Air was one of Nic Cage's better movies.

How about Fred Williamson?

Just watched the first movie tonight, hope the sequel is longer and hope we get more Terry Crews as well.

I still think one fun way to include Carl Weathers, if he didn't want to commit to a long shoot or lots of action, is him doing a cameo at the beginning. Have Stallone kind of calling to round up all his crew, and when we see Terry Crews, we see him at a cookout with his family, with his father played by Carl Weathers. I could see those two playing off each other really well, considering how they are both so bad ass and hilarious.

^Now THAT would be frigging awesome, I could totally dig that as a scene in the movie, would get me giddy definately!
