Dredd not doing well enough for a sequel was devastating. One of my favourite CBMs.

That's why MBJ will be proved right in the end, because he knows people are going to see it even if it is absolutely terrible and that some people have no willpower.

I'm kinda eh on it. I don't think it was bad, but I don't think it's as good as people were saying. I'm holding out hope though because I'd like to be able to say I saw a good superhero movie film.

I'm looking forward to it, but the comedy in the trailer was very hit or miss for me. That bit where he rolls the window down and speaks to the armed guys fell completely flat. A little cringy.

I liked the trailer, but I do have my doubts for the Deadpool movie. I don't mind some of the humor that was presented in the trailer, but I certainly hope it isn't the entire movie.

I enhoyed Dredd. Real shame it didn't perform better. Part of me wonders if Dredd would be better served on tv with a goid budget and mature rating like Game if Thrones. A series would be great for exploring the world and story arcs more.

In the end Fox wasn't our worst enemy, it was our own curiosity. We ourselves put to death the only chance of a complete MCU. MBJ was right. We saw it anyway..."

I had been thinking this myself, actually. A Dredd series on HBO or AMC, or a streaming service like Netflix, would be fantastic. You could fully explore that world beyond the scope of the film, and continue from where that left off. So much potential

That was pretty good.
If the weekend totals come in and Fox ends up making a press release saying they are officially moving forward with a sequel based on a strong weekend performance, I'll feel some level of guilt (even though this is a free ticket). As it stands, I see this sinking like a lead balloon.

It's all accounting. Even a free ticket counts as a ticket. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

The problem is that your one viewing may not mean much, but if all the detractors do the same thing that would make this a success. Free tickets just remove your money from the equation, the theater still has to give money to Fox fo rit and it counts toward gross.

If you have to pull an MBJ at least use that on a ticket to any other movie playing in the theater.

Ironically, I bet the bulk of the audience this weekend will be made up of true FF fans who were against this movie just going to check out how bad it is.
