I wonder if his tie to cisco meta human origin they have to change some stuff like darkseid..

Francisco "Cisco" Ramon was the youngest of three brothers, during a game between the brothers, Cisco stepped into a boom tube created by Darkseid. Without thinking, his oldest brother, Armando pulled his brother out of the boom tube at the cost of his own life making him the first civilian killed by the Darkseid invasion while their middle brother, Dante couldn't help but watch. The process left Cisco's body alter allowing him to create not only seismic vibrations but also to be able to sense beings from other dimensions, even as small as an insect. He kept his powers a secret over the next five years helping people as he could. Thanks to his powers there wasn't any type of recording device digital or photographic that could capture his face or identity. He was eventually followed by a member of A.R.G.U.S., Agent Dale Gunn under the orders of Amanda Waller, who offered him the chance to kill the same Parademon that took his brother's life. Although he kills it and agrees to cooperate as to becoming Vibe and a founding member of the Justice League of America, it is later revealed neither Gunn nor his superior were sure of whether this Parademon was the same Parademon that attacked and killed Armando Ramon. He later begins to question his role after a fight with Kid Flash.

Not digging the fire that looks like regular hair but that is the first time I could buy that actress as Killer Frost. She just has the face and demeanor that wouldn't translate to evil without coming across as whiny, imho

If this version of Caitlin does end up becoming a villain/Killer Frost, if you add her to the list with Wells for people who will likely leave "Team Flash", who do you guys see joining the group to make up for their absence?

Hartley Rathaway.

How awesome would it be if a future Eddie was Reverese FLash? He'd suddenly become so interesting because he could spend all time trying to not be this person. Then of course it would happen because you can't outrun destiny.

Keep it at one tech specialist.

Some of you may be looking at Andy Poon's concept art of Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable) and thinking to yourself, is that Oded Fehr ("The Mummy") or Liam Neeson ("Batman Begins")? If you had either of those thoughts you'd be correct on both accounts. Poon, or as I like to call him Poontang, illustrated his Ra's al Ghul costume designs before the role was cast. For fun, he decided to incorporate the likeness of each actor based on the rumors linking Fehr and Neeson to the part. It does NOT in anyway mean they were actually considered. Still neat to look at though. Then there is John Gallagher's awesome Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) costume design, which was not chosen. Boo! Gallagher used elements of the New 52 look for hie Captain Cold design, but producers decided to go in a different direction. The final image below, is not from either CW show. It is an unused design for DC Comics' New 52 Reverse-Flash, whose secret identity is Iris' brother Daniel West.

I don't like how the new 52 RF design looks more like a magma based villain than a speedster.

Great Ras costume but they need to make Noble's hair and beard more like the concept art.

I don't get why they didn't go with that look for Cold. Even just with sleeves, it would have been perfect.

That should definitely be the look he evolves into over time. And yeah, just add sleeves.

Project Review: The Flash 2014-3D Logo Exploration-PART I

For the first 3D Logo Design I did for The Flash, I went almost just an extrusion, though there is a micro bevel on it with block colors, flat extrusion and a bit of motion blur[speed].
In the next version, I put a very heavy bevel on the type, and dropped the camera down below The Flash title treatment.

For this my third design, I did the red in a ruby glass material, and mirrored the previous file to get the back bevels to show inside the type.

I took the thick beveled type and replaced the material with a red car paint one and added a slight gold glow around it to match the lightning which was dine in amber glass for this pass.

This was a triple stack of three logos with graduating larger outlines to get the triple highlight on the edges.

This was a Single Point Bevels look[ SPB] that I did next. A bit more time as it is hand built.

I replace the red with glass again, placed it on a glossy black surface and moved the camera up to center on The Flash logo.

This design is a wedge extrusion as I taper the extrusion to a point from the side creating a 'knife-edge' Logo look to the font.

I added a black holding device in this 3D Flash logo and pulled the wedge out a bit to box in the end in this alt.

Here is the logo with a chrome lip all around the main title with some motion blur at the italic angle to match the font.

Project Review
The Flash 2014
3D Logo Exploration-PART I

Client: The CW via Leroy and Rose.
Creative Direction: Melchior Lamy.
Project Date: April 2014.

I've been doing work for Leroy and Rose for a bit, so when they called me to do some fast 3D logos for a Superhero property, The Flash, I was on board for a quick one day turn around project. I've done 1000's of 3D logos and many for superhero films, so I was more than ready to go on this.

These projects are very typical as to how fast you need to turn around a design for Theatrical Print Advertising. So in this, PART I today, I cover about half of them, or ten designs that are all based on just one vector file.

The Flash was redeveloped for TV and the 2D logo design was locked from the client side, but they wanted me to do my 3D pass on the font to deliver a set of logos for dimensional proposals, so off I went.

I was given one day on this gig, so I hustled to create 19 designs in the time frame we were limited to. As will all 2D Logos, there are endless ways to make them 3D, from simple extrusions, bevels and fully modeling the text and bending and curving it.

I did as much as I could in the short one day, and was pleased with the results rendered and delivered.

Look for a PART II in weeks to come.

Cheers, THOM

Project Review: The Flash 2014-3D Logo Exploration-PART II

This "The Flash' 3D Logo was done with a mini-bevel in ruby glass, with a neon lip line, and the bolt is a stack of seven glowing objects stacked thru the glass letters.

This version of the 3D Logo is a revers deep extruded face on a red metal with caustic turned on to get the reflection lighting inside the deep face.

A matte red material on a heavy bevel, with the deep extrusion, a bit shallower than above, with caustics off for a more simple face detail.

This Flash 3D Logo has a bright polished metal edge with a warm reflection and a red center.
[ deep extrusion ].

A Glass type version with a brushed stainless face inside inside the heavy bevel on the ruby glass.

This version has a rounded deep bevel with the face pulled back a bit to get a lip on the beveled edge. More matte materials here again with some self-illumination added to increase the brightness.

I flattened back the above logo and added motion blur behind it. I added caustics back to get the various bright spots on the face.

A knife-edge bevel with the bottom tapered down as it touches the gloss black stage floor. Matte materials here to simplify the look.

Here is the 3D Logo with a glass lightning bolt to reveal the type thru it, as well as another knife- edge design with an anodized aluminum material applied.

Once again, the Flash was redeveloped for TV and the 2D logo design was locked from the client side, so I basically did dimensional versions in 3D.

Glad they drop hoodie for season 11
latest

I loved how Bryan Q Miller handled Bart but I wish the end of the comic had him become Flash and protector of Keystone and Central City(Bart helping Clark divert a crisis in Keystone City in "Hex" and Captain Cold reading Toyman's file which said Bart home base /main city of operations was Central City in "Prophecy") or show Barry, or Wally becoming the Flash or Bart in the Speed Force or surviving and living in Central and/or Keystone City with amnesia . But I hope Captain Cold costume develops into a more New 52 or classic Captain Cold costume

Great Ras costume but they need to make Noble's hair and beard more like the concept art.

That's the one thing his Ra's was missing, distinguished facial hair. As is, he just looks like he woke and said "**** shaving today."
