i can't even express how much i am in love with this show. every episode has been amazing.

Ezra Miller will have a damn hard time topping Gustin. Gustin IS The Flash to me, he's the perfect Barry Allen. Everyone on this show is so perfectly cast, and the slow burn of the storyline is so perfect for a comic book tv series.

a tv show really was the best avenue for The Flash. So glad this exists, and that the movie Flash isn't preventing the tv Flash from doing anything.


i was originally down on the costume, but they've made some small tweaks that have vastly improved the suit, and i really love it now.

this is quickly becoming my favorite tv show ever.

I don't see why they couldn't. There have been a number of Sci-Fi /Fantasy shows in these past few years shows that have use heavy amounts of CGI in each episode that is done quite well.

Agree this show is really good. I don't know a lot about comic books but this show is giving me a smallville vibe and I love love smallville but I think smallville was a little better though but this is only the first season so it could still maybe get a lot better but it is already great. Yeah Gustin has done a great job and has shown he can show a lot of different emotions and I think he could make a great spider man lol. I love the suit and I have heard a lot of talk about the suit being changed form the first episode but I noticed no difference at all in his suit.

Just saw Grant on live with Kelly and Michael and he had a photo of Grodd picking him up (behind the scenes during his birthday party) also he mentioned that while Dr Wells appeared to be a bad guy right now that some twists were coming that would make that less "black and white" than it is now.

I'm guessing that's the suit they're using before the CG it. I'm alright with that...though I think we should bite the bullet and get a real gorilla and have him don a purple cape.

Well, his super-reflexes were already dumbed down in the last fight. Just like he wasn't able to disarm Cold and Heatwave, he suddenly wasn't able to run around the ice wall.

They could've easily avoided making Barry a moron by just using the Cold-Field (Justice League 38):

The producers know this, they're fans too, which makes it even more frustrating the fact they didn't introduce the concept earlier. Hopefully they will next time the Rogues confront the Flash.

With the way that this show portrays Barry at times, I feel like he would easily get killed from confronting the likes of Merlyn, Slade, and most definitely Ra's.

Which makes it more ironic because it's also been proven that Barry could easily taken down and subdue several armed men, which would normally give Oliver trouble at times.

I'm glad that they are doing a legacy character on this show, Arrow should've done the same with some of their characters.

That's the thing about heroes with great powers like Flash and Superman, you run a high risk of making the characters extremely boring if they are "too infallible". This is pretty much the reason that kryptonite was invented. Every once in a while the heroes need to fail, even if just a little, otherwise, the stories would be wholly unsatisfactory and tedious.

Ehh... I disagree - not everyone on this show is perfectly cast. I don't know what your own definition of being "perfectly cast" is, but for me, that's someone who completely owns the role above other things, hence the word perfect.

Apart from Gustin (who is very charming and charismatic, although not the best actor) and Cavanagh, none of the other main cast members feel perfect in ANY way, shape or form.

Literally any other actor can fill in their shoes and they'll probably do a better job at it too. Cisco shows some improvement as the show goes on, but Iris, Joe and Dr. Snow are just plain generic, boring-ass characters and performances.

Danielle Panabaker is a bad actress, I'm sorry to all her fans out here. She just is. Candice Patton is a little better, but the fact that both of their characters come off as annoying on many occasions doesn't help the situation.

The guest starts have been much better, although the one that stands out for me is Wentworth Miller; I don't know much about Captain Cold in the comics, but I feel like he's having an absolute blast playing the character.

And I'm curious, what are these little tweaks you speak of that made vast improvements to the suit - I honestly haven't noticed anything different about it, let alone a VAST change. Maybe I didn't pay much attention, but I'd really like to know.
