Haha yeah, agreed. That was pretty damned badass. Loved the "Not God... GRODD" line.

I'm wondering if that was a neat little call back to Superman II. General Zod says pretty much that exact same line when he takes over the White House.

Well I don't love how we're not getting an episode tonight! :argh:

A bit random, but when it comes to this series original music score...I can't stop re-listening to the music that was played in the background, specifically back when Oliver told Barry that he could inspire people in ways that he (Oliver) could never do in the Pilot.

Heck, I'd dare even say that it was one of the most inspirational music pieces that I've heard ever, more so than other themes from big scale action/comic book/fantasy films.

I loved the score for Arrow in season 1, season 2 not as much, but I love the score that was released for the crossover episode is great and I can't wait to hear the score for the Flash when its released.

The Brave and the Bold track alone is a great mix of both themes for Arrow and the Flash.

I suspect the answer that we will see is in the future episode is that it only appears that they are being denied justice and that in fact via Joe and the Central City Police that there has been awareness of Star Labs for this purpose all along or via the army and Dr. Wells.

I'd also suspect a core central service supply system.

This is my second post.

So how would you guys feel if, for the Season 2 "Flash" Crossover, they had Barry enlisting the help of Arrow, Atom, and Firesetorm to help him take on the Rogues (Captain Cold, Heatwave, Weather Wizard, and Boomerang)?

I mean, I'm not saying that Barry should always call them up whenever his rogues come together to go at him, but maybe for his first encounter with them...it would be a nice excuse (at first) to bring in the other heroes for a crossover event.

No. The Rogues are Barry's enemies and he should fight them on his own. Boomerang showing up on Ollie's show and going to his secret prison is bad enough.

Speaking of Barry's enemies (Arrow spoilers for next episodes)
Flash enemy Murmur shows up in Starling City

Ollie needs a better rogues' gallery. He's already run out of his own villains.

He ran out of his own villains in season 1, more or less. Green Arrow just doesn't have a strong rogues gallery.

Anyway, no, I don't really see it as a good idea for Barry to call in the JLA to fight the Rogues. Mega crossovers like that should be saved for mega villains, and the Rogues have a hard enough time coming off as credible challenges for just Flash.

Green Arrow has *Not* run out of his own villains. Nossiree. We just got Brick and Cupid. Natas and Electrocutioner could be lots of fun, and there's a ton of all purpose DC villains, not unlike Slade, who need some shine time.

It seems like the executive producers for the shows are about the same, but one is unique. Geoff Johns is for The Flash, Mark Guggenheim is for Arrow. I guess Ali Adler is the one unique to Supergirl.

Vandal Savage as the big bad of season 4.

I've never been a big Green Arrow fan, but I have been reading comics for two decades and I've never even heard of Natas or Electrocutioner.

Not saying that they can't be good villains, but as far as rogues' galleries go Green Arrow's is pretty weak.

I just read a theory by someone online that in the upcoming spinoff with Caity Lotz back as Black Canary could be a result of Barry changing history if he goes back in time and saves his mother. It'd be a clever way to bring her back for a period of time until the timeline is corrected.

Fringe did that (reset the timeline) and it totally ****ed with the show. It basically killed it cause nobody gave a **** anymore.

I'm thinking its going to have something to do with the Lazarus Pits. I know they aren't supposed to work on dead people but who knows in the tv verse.

16 more days until the new episode. I can't wait the promo looked awesome! This show just keeps topping itself with each new show. It's gonna be interesting to see how Cisco finds out about that Wells has speed powers or is the RF. Been reading some theories of what's might happen with Barry goin back to save his mom were gonna be in for a treat when we do see which way the show goes with that whole storyline. Best show by far! ⚡⚡⚡ ⏳⏳⌛⌛

I mean, everyone's gallery is weak compared to Spider-Man and Batman, but look at what mileage they've gotten out of Merlyn. My point was simply that he's not out of villains. Nothing more, nothing less.

So I read somewhere that Caitlin is actually a villain in the comics. Is this true and is that the ultimate endgame for her character on the show? I'm not a huge DC guy so these characters are mostly new to me

She is a villain and the writers are content for Caitlin to just be Caitlin for now. In the comics she's a enemy of Firestorm, so there ya go.

Ahh interesting. If I remember correctly from the article I think they said they are going to go that path with her. Seems like a pretty integral character to lose though. I wouldn't be surprised if she turns into a bad guy for an episode somehow and then they are able to get her to come back to her senses or something like that. Will be cool to see what they do with her
