Sorry, no other sources beside comicbook.com...

Chilling....

What's the better that, if this is accurate... The title will turn out to mean someone else?

While speaking to the press following his first Saturn Award--an accolade bestowed by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films--series star Grant Gustin teased that The Flash’s sophomore season will introduce its central new villain seemingly within its first few episodes.

“We’re introducing a really cool big bad that’s going to be revealed kind of immediately,” said Gustin.

But villains aren’t the only major development crash-landing into Barry Allen’s life. Gustin also revealed that the scarlet speedster will factor immediately into DC Entertainment’s upcoming third series, Legends of Tomorrow. According to Gustin, The Flash will carry a big presence in the series’ opening episodes.

“I’m going to be a part of that right out of the gates as well,” Gustin said. "I get to be Flash on three TV shows [the third being Arrow]. I was unemployed a year and a half ago, so that’s pretty cool.”

I'm hoping the big bad they're introducing is either Mirror Master or Kadabra. Those two are high on the list of villains I'd like to see, and they'd both be great villains to use in conjuction with alternate universes and time travel.

I'd put money on it being Mirror Master. Somehow he strikes me as being worthy of "big bad" status. Plus they've actually said he's going to be in this series, I don't recall them saying anything about Kadabra.

So I was just re-watching a few episodes from Season 1 and I just watched the one where Barry accidentally went back in time.....1 day to be exact. I got to thinking....Barry captured Mark Martin or Marden (however it's spelled) before he kidnapped Joe, paralyzing the captain and prevented the tidal wave, ultimately saving a lot of lives. He altered the timeline by changing things and saving all those lives, thus creating an alternate timeline. Seems like a wormhole would have opened up, like it did in the finale.

OMG please let it be Mirror Master. That would be fantastic considering their special effects budget.

I'd love to see the Shade as a big bad on this show. Have him be from Jay Garrick's dimension, looking to fight another flash for the sport of it.

Any Westallen scoop to help us survive The Flash‘s hiatus? –Kaz

As we all surmised when I wrote this not-at-all-controversial bit, Barry is getting his own “Felicity” because it’s simply too soon for Iris to move on from Eddie — especially since Season 2 picks up right where we left off, with The Flash fighting the wormhole. “[Eddie’s death] is definitely a factor, for sure,” Grant Gustin says. “Barry wants to be there for Iris as her best friend right now. And for Barry, too. It’s too soon for everybody. Some tragic events just took place!” Interestingly, exec producer Geoff Johns added that the aforementioned (and yet-to-be-cast) CCPD noob Wendy Miller won’t be the only one shaking up the status quo when the CW hit returns. “There are a lot of new characters coming in, not just the ones that have been leaked online,” he teased. “And they all will challenge relationships, in good and bad ways.”

Dude, as you probably know, there's a whole thread dedicated to the awful mess that the Flash has made with timetravel. My advice, don't go down that rabbit hole, it will only frustrate you.

Rather, just do as the Flash does and ....run with it. IMO as long as Flash is entertaining and the characters are likeable then really the time travel stuff is just a bunch of plot devices anyway.

Just a thought. Cheers.

You know they will :cwink: one of the first things the press will ask Danielle will be Snowbarry.

I hope she gets to talk about Snowbarry and some of Killer Frost. At least more than a tease.

Actually I thought it was fans as well that get to ask the questions with the press?

Well I don't know about fans asking questions but believe me before the panel, the press/media will ask her about Snowbarry first and then Killer Frost, those will be the main questions ask.

Well, the panel and questions asked by actual fans will be more interesting. if say, the comic book and sci fi sites get in there, it will be better for us.

Honestly cannot wait to hear more about her Killer Frost arc. Snowbarry talk is just the cherry on top.

I heard Superman would be appearing and Tom Welling would be reprising the role. Now I know, I know I'm REALLY late on that and I also know it's FOR A FACT not true. But my god, wouldn't that be awesome? It would imo. Last episode I saw was the episode where they all teamed up to stop Professer Zoom. I have to catch up on my Flash.

Tom Welling was never Superman to me, so no I don't think it would be awesome. I'd take the return of Chloe in a heartbeat though.

Since they're messing with other realities I could see them getting Welling for a cameo if Barry goes to a different earths or something. It would be fun but wouldn't ruin the show by trying to smush it together with Smallville properly. Cause Smallville was bloody awful.
