Eventhough it would have been cool to pair them up and have Wednesdays be "DC Night" i think its a smart call spreading it out a bit. Gotham on Monday, Flash on Tuesday, Arrow on Wednesday and Constantine on Friday.

I don't think Flash and NCIS will have similar audiences, I would be a bit more scared going up against the Voice

agreed i hope it does well..:woot:The Originals did fine in that time slot this year.

Damn we almost have a Superhero Show to watch almost 5 nights in a row they just needs to put something on Thursday. LOL

Putting it on Tuesdays is ****ing dumb , why not pair it with Arrow?

Why is it dumb? You get to watch it a day earlier...

One reason not to pair it with Arrow is so the general audience doesn't get exhausted from watching the same genre back to back. Maybe they feel confident in Flash and want Arrow to bolster viewership for another show.

Plus Supernatural can't possibly go for much longer, can it?

I love the costume, and Barry's over confident attitude. As a Flash fan, I couldn't be more happier with the way this show is shaping up. I just hope they tie Arrow/Flash to the DC Cinematic Universe. I'd love to see these guys together.

Just saw the trailer at work. It's really long and you will not be disappointed. Effects are stunning. Hopefully they put it online soon. In a Word WOW! Btw Stephen Amell is in it.

True but it's not quite the same as in the comics. I feel like they have (or had) a way of balancing it all better there. Truthfully I think they can still do a better Flash and GA for the movies and on the other side I don't want a good TV show associated with a ****** film.

KS, don't be a troll, many fans don't want Arrow connected to the movies because of poor casting choices, acting and some bad writing. The Flash will probably have some of the same problems, but we'll see.

And for the millionth time, despite its flaws (TDKT has plenty of them too), MOS is still among the best according to most fans:

MOS among the best four according to AMC poll:

1) Avengers: 12,722
2) The Dark Knight: 10,105
3) Man of Steel: 6,365
4) Iron Man: 3,748

And:

Man Of Steel gets an A- CinemaScore (rating by the general public)

Man of Steel Best summer movie: http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie...movie-poll-man-steel-saves-day-222445002.html

Deal with it! ;)

Visually, they mesh perfectly with each other.

Like MOS? (Well, writing for sure... cast was mostly good, acting was iffy at some parts but I'll blame the script, which was horse****, even though I know Cavill isn't exactly Oscar material)

The Flash will probably have some of the same problems, but we'll see.

These people have terrible taste and it can safely be assumed they've never seen or read a Superman anything before. :o

MOS was a mixed bag to say the least to most fans. TASM2 is a more than fair comparison.

And that first Iron Man film >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MOS. Not sure who in their right mind would think MOS was a better movie, and I'm a bigger Superman fan.

Hopefully they don't move The Flash:s time slot around too much. People need to know when this is on consistently so they get a regular audience. That's what killed the original TV show, remember, the constant moving around and war coverage interruptions.

YES!!! Does he say that in it?? THAT is the perfect way to begin his series in every episode!!! That's perfect if true, I've always said they should do that! That's been a staple of The Flash books since the silver age!!! Best thing I've heard about the show if true!!! Yeeeaaaaahhh!!!! :D :D :D

That line could go on to be iconic, like it is in the comics. I just know it!

I think it restricts the quality and franchise potential of the movies. Could you imagine if Iron Man started on the CW and they turned down RDJ, Paltrow, Bridges, Howard/Cheadle, Bettany, etc for the movie because they wanted to please the CW audience? It flushes potential down the drain, and movies are a bigger deal from a business pov.

That being said, if WB believes that a Flash movie franchise will never be in the cards, then I guess connecting them and bringing in Gustin could make more sense. Boosting Flash's ratings via the shared universe might be more beneficial than having a slightly more enjoyable Barry Allen in the JL movies.

That's exactly how I feel about it, both ways. If we're never going to get a Flash in the movies then definitely put Gustin in from the TV show, but if we are going to get our own cinematic Flash then let it be its own thing.

Oh man, that first look was glorious. The effects were great and (assuming it represent the show) the tone seems right. Can't wait for this.

I'm just excited that in all my life there's finally a (live action) TV show I can look forward to watching ever week. :D

There is a very funny scene when Star Labs tests Barry's speed for the first time:-) the trailer is really long possibly 3 minutes or so. Didn't time it so can't say for sure.

Interesting that they're tying Star Labs to Barry again, like the old TV show did. So we can assume they will know his identity then, probably...
