Haven't watched the aired pilot yet, nor have I read the entire thread, but, by chance, does anyone know what the additional 3 minutes consisted of?
Thanls
Hahaha well, I know I'm probably alone in this, but I like that movie. The only Star Trek movie with the original cast that I absolutely HATE is the first one.
That's what they said when making MOS, but things change all the time, and so can ideas/stoylines. For years, Nolan said there would never be a Robin in his Batman movies, and low and behold, we got a horrible one in TDKR.
"Boring and slow paced" huh?Yeah. ST: The Motion Picture is so freaking boring and slow paced. Glad Meyer stepped it up with WOK in the 2nd film.
I liked the idea of that scene, but the execution was clumsy. I think it was the writing.

In your "opinion"![]()
Did anybody else notice that the newspaper from 2024 mentions a Wayne Tech and Queen Inc. merger. So Bruce Wayne exists in this universe. Kind of cool.

No, I think they were just focusing on Barry seeing it all happen in slow motion.

Loved it. Great action, characters and VFX.
Love the crossovers and the few Easter Eggs.
Is Iron Heights the same prison featured in Arrow?
Is the waitress who dropped her tray (Tracy, I think?!?) someone of note in the Flash/DC Universe? I just got the feeling that we were meant to take notice of her for some reason.
So am I the only one who noticed/cared that Layla from Sky High is in this? Because I really do think that's kind of awesome.
Oh, and the pilot was good too, I guess.
Well, a company called Wayne Tech exists in 2024. That may or may not mean that Bruce Wayne exists. Maybe it's a hockey equipment company founded by Wayne Gretzky.t:
It came across as cliched and a bit lazy. It also led to some pretty awkward and unnatural deliveries by otherwise competent actors. A lot of it felt forced. What about the writing did you not like? I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.
