so far but I suspect like Jay said this Wells is different. When we saw him in the preview 8 months ago in the opening sequence at the presentation with his daughter he seemed a lot less *****ie.

It's already played out to me. They have a great villain in the male Dr.Light, erasing Kimiyo Hoshi version is a waste.

• The comedy this season is really working for me.
• Dr. Light's costume is awful.
• Barry didn't chase after Dr. Light after their first encounter. Why?
• Barry/Patty.
• "Harry" is hilarious.
• Jay/Caitlin feels a little forced.
• All of Barry's love interests in one room. Talk about awkward.
• Team Flash knows that Cisco's a metahuman now. Good.
• "I don't think any of us would go evil if we got powers..." Holy foreshadowing, Caitlin.
• The Flash just shows up out of nowhere at a train station and nobody bats an eye?
• Dr. Light is not a match for The Flash. Pretending otherwise is an insult to our intelligence.
• The Pipeline Prison again. Woo hoo.
• "I can't in good conscience help you..." So you're not gonna help him when you think there's a good chance that he'll die in a direct confrontation with Zoom? Way to go, Jay. You're an *******.
• I'm almost certain now that [BLACKOUT]Zoom is Barry's duplicate.[/BLACKOUT]

2. This is not the comic book universe. Dr. Hoshi and Dr. Arthur Light could both show up at any point in the show's future if needed.

To me it is when Kimiyo Hoshi could've added something to the group and to defeating Zoom instead of just giving us another meta to be locked up.

Apart from that, it was an enjoyable episode. I am already loving this Wells and the Light effects were simple but great all at once.

It's simple. You have other continuities that could suit your tastes if it troubles you so much. I dealt with a gay Flash just fine in the comic books a few months ago.

I've also dealt with the fact that this show will change things established in the comic book universe to suit it's own narrative a long time ago.

Great episode from start to finish, Having Tom Cavanaugh back definitely brought strength in the characters especially since this isn't the same character from season 1 with Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash. I suspect that Zoom is Barry of Earth II and that's why he sent Dr. Light to distract Flash.

Also I agree with Jay and based on the preview next week Zoom is going to be a very formidable threat to Barry even greater than Reverse Flash. I do hope that Jay finds a means to regain his speed soon.

For all intents and purposes it was a new Dr. Light. Just like we got a new Firestorm on this show that isn't Ronnie or Jason last week.
