Enjoyed this episode. Loved it. Only few things I was put off by other than the fact that Barry didn't stay longer in the Flashpoint was the Iris and Barry thing...
Following the first 2-3 minutes of the first conversation they ever had with each other, the very next thing Barry says to Iris is that he knows her and her dad and understands them, despite the fact that they don't know that Barry knew them in his time period....yet Iris isn't weirded out by it at all. Iris just trusts the guy immediately.
Don't tell me that it's because it's love at first sight, it doesn't make sense. Fault of the writers. If a total stranger assured one girl that he knows her completely after knowing each other for only 5 minutes, she would freak out about it and might be bothered. She JUST met him. Typical though. Very cliché.
A great premiere though. The best one by far. Effects were great and seeing Barry fighting the two Rival tornados was awesome.
I enjoyed seeing Flash and Kid-Flash together but I was expecting Kid-Flash to develop a new sense of humor by now, not to put it like that but I mean act the way Michael Rosenbaum performed the character. Loud-mouthed, childish but fun.
This Kid-Flash may have a different personality than Barry's, but for the most part, he seems straight compared to Michael Rosenbaum's portrayal of Wally West.
Can't see how Iris and Joe wouldn't be talking to each other anymore...seriously, why though? How could someone else's relationship be affected by Flashpoint. It seems odd. I hope this isn't permanent.
Getting the feeling that maybe the Barry and Iris kiss didn't happen also due to Flashpoint.
I felt the scene where Rival stabbed Wally was in many ways, forced, even though they had to find some way to send Barry back to his original time setting, but it happened too soon.
Hope this involves the Reverse-Flash to return. Overall though, I enjoyed the season premiere. 10/10.
