I don't get the KF criticism.

Most of the posts on here are about how "the same" everything is. So Caitlin turns evil with her powers. So what? There's no reason they need to be consistent with this.

They don't need to be consistent, but they should have at least offered some form of explanation other than just having it be. It doesn't fit with the established pattern they've set up for that world, and it comes off as lazy writing. Just have her turn evil "because powers" instead of giving her character a well defined arc where it's believable that Caitlin would choose to go bad on her own.

Overall, I thought this was a decent episode. The future stuff was fun, but damn that wig on grant was a bit rough. Someone needs to tell future flash to not base his hairstyle choices off Tobey in SM3.

Well, I can understand where they're coming from, no, they don't need to be consistent, but since it isn't consistent, they should at least explain a little why her powers have that effect on her, though I certainly do think a lot of people are overreacting to the plot point.

It's not awful, but it does come across as lazy. I personally would have preferred a well written arc watching Caitlyn descend into darkness due to events that happen to her. That just would have been more interesting. Heck, the entire series of Breaking Bad was built around this premise. When done well, a fall into darkness arc, or a redemption arc, are fascinating things to watch, and make for great drama. It's why people loved Breaking Bad, why so many people love Jamie Lannister, and a big reason why so many people were so pumped for the Star Wars prequels.

What they went with on the show isn't awful, but it is a bit lazy. And that more or less describes how I've felt about the show since S1. It's still solid, but they tend to more often than not take the lazy route with moments of greatness sprinkled about here and there.

Right I'm one of her biggest supporters and even I feel stiffed, by the looks of the spoilers
she might go back to being Caitlin but still have Killer Frost's powers.
