What does that mean? They have CGI cut scenes that look that good already. Now if that is what I'll be seeing when actually playing the level, then that is impressive.
Looks good, didn't get impressed

Ditto, it looked fine but nothing jaw-dropping.

1313 running on Unreal Engine 3 actually looked a good deal better.

Chainsaw Lilly or whosis kinda gives me the impression it will play like Dead Rising 2, that game was so bland and dull beyond the weapons used and customized, if it's that kind of games I'm keeping my distance from it

It'll play more like action games, like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry and whatnot. I'll prolly get it, mostly as a way to say thanks for getting Jessica Nigri in that ridiculous pink outfit hahah.

Agreed Iceman, and there are always Devs like Epic or Rocksteady who really know how to make the most of Unreal

I second the hell out of this thought.

I was hoping for Gamefly to send me Lollipop Chainsaw just because I feel like it will be an easy platinum. I don't evn like games that have anything to do with zombies, but for some reason I feel like I have to play it. I blame the cheerleader outfit.

Screw the cheerleader outfit. Tanin posted this in the Lollipop Chainsaw Thread. :awesome:

Why is that cool? Is that a reference to something?

Edit. Nevermind, looked at it again and it hit me.

I think I'm losing my passion for video games. I tried replaying Darksiders, God of War I, and MUA but quickly lost interest. I hadn't played any of my 3 consoles the months before. I'm playing Assassin's Creed: Revelations now but I'm kind of just playing one sequence and then putting it down to play later. The story seems kind of blah since Ezio seems to take a backseat to Desmond (who I really couldn't care less about).

I have a bunch of games on Steam but never feel like playing any (a common side-effect of buying a lot of games on sale on Steam).

I didn't pay attention to E3, the only thing I did was check out the Pikmin 3 footage. In fact, I really don't have much interset in consoles anymore. I would sell my 360 if it weren't for all my Rock Band stuff I like to break out from time to time. I mostly bought it for Banjo-Kazooie but Nuts & Bolts sucked and it seems the franchise has been put out to pasture. I bought a PS3 for Uncharted but UC3 felt so underwhelming I don't much interest in a 4th should it ever come out. InFamous 3 might be the only game I really want to play for it.

For next gen consoles, I'll probably buy a WiiU at some point because I love Nintendo's franchises. Other than that, I have no interest in Microsoft's next console since I rarely play my 360 anymore. Kingdom Hearts 3 might tempt me into buying a PS4 but who knows whenever that's coming out.

Just something I've been thinking about since I graduated college and have been really bored at home.

Hahah yeah I went through a period like that. I was unplugged from gaming for a whole year. No news, no games, just had no interest in it. Now though it's like,

I do miss the days when I could sit and lose track of time playing though. I can barely stand to play for more than an hour.

Every once in a while I go through a period like that. I'll be staring at a stack of games, sometimes even games that I've yet to play, and I'll just feel absolutely no motivation at all to play any of them. The thought crosses my mind, "Is this it? After all these years, am I finally done with video games?" For me it usually lasts two weeks to a month or so, but then I'll see or read or hear something that triggers my desire to play video games. Maybe I read something cool about an upcoming game, or I remember how great an older game was, and then just like that my excitement for video games comes back.

I never lose interest over all. I mean there will be periods where iv just kind of exhausted my collection, but ill still be on here or IGN checking out the latest goings on in the industry. I dont watch much live tv at all(outside of sports), i only go to the theater for the really big 'must see films', but other than that, most of my media attention is focused on games. I intend to work in the industry at some point, so my fascination with games goes far beyond just playing them.

I know I've fell into one of those "no game seems to be good enough" modes, looking through my game library, trying to find something to play. I'll often find one redeeming quality and decide to play a game only to be overrun by gameplay flaws and mechanics that just piss me off and make me not wanna play the game, hence the reason why I haven't touched Just Cause 2 in a year

Right now I'm in a period where I hadn't touched my PS3 in over a month because I was more focused on a play that I was starring in. But ever since I graduated college a couple of weeks ago, I've been mostly killing time with my PS3 again. I don't have any new games so I've been going through some of the ones that I've yet to Platinum, but none of them have really hit that spot.

But I renewed my Gamefly account for the month because some the only games that I'm interested in all come out within this month. (LEGO Batman 2, Amazing Spider-Man). Right now I have Skyrim out and these past few days have really flied by. It's fun, but I also feel like its going to consume me until I finish it.

Lollipop Chainsaw? Looks way more Grindhouse than Dead Rising.
Never played Grindhouse

I love this one more than the Cheerleader :D

There are times I'm like that toward comic books, then I focus on other stuff and see myself able to read more comics

Or act like this
