I'll probably get it regardless of reviews, I'm just going to wait for the price to drop a little.

Amazon is gonna be selling it for 49(well its 49 now). As long as the reviews dont come out to a bunch of 6's, ill pick it up come launch. But based on the demo thought it was pretty good, just wanna know if the rest of the game flows the same way.

Yeah I liked it a lot although the graphics weren't great. Seeing the first picture of Crysis 3 which was accidentally leaked by ES has me excited. Anytime a game includes a bow, I get pumped

I thought the game looked pretty good, altho its beginning to bug me more and more than these dev companies dont include weapon slings. Seeing the Thompson just 'stick' to the characters back was more jarring to me than other recent shooters. IDK why.

I heard Two Worlds was a major step up from the first one. Origins is awesome though and if you've never played it, I'd go with that one.

I went with Origins. I think I made the right choice.

Its amazing how NBA2K12 is still towards the top of the charts, being that its a sports game (thats not Madden) and 5 months after release. Even more surprising is that it beat out newer release titles like SSX and SFxTK. SFxTK did relatively well for its debut month, but Im shocked to see SSX which came out in Feb beat it. Considering how awful the reviews were, RE-OC being #2 is another shock

lol....its kinda funny how 2K12 is on almost every platform including the PS2 and it didnt do nearly as well as The Show which is only on 2 consoles (and the bulk of which went to the PS3)

Not really. The MLB 2K series has sucked something fierce for going on 7 years now. MLB The Show has been consistantly a well made title since its second year on PS3. MLB titles have never sold all that well and a poorly made MLB title would sell even less. It's not the least bit odd to see The Show outsell MLB 2K12. I think the Show has been one of the better sports titles out there. Trailing only the likes of NBA 2K.

I just thought it was funny that its so wide considering 2k12 has so much going for it being on so many platforms and still couldnt get anywhere near The Show which is primarily on 1 (and I say that bc the Vita install base is still considerably low). It speaks to how great The Show is and how quality trumps over quantity in this case

No one cares about the NBA until the playoffs so it's not too surprising to me.

Playoffs dont start till the end of the month and the bulk of NBA games (well sports in general) come at the beginning of the season when gamers can get the most out of the product, not at the end (playoff time). And also NBA 2K12 has consistently been of the best sellers since its release in Oct. November was the only month it didnt chart for the top 10 and thats bc of all the big releases that came that month. Basketball games generally dont sell as well as lets say a Madden, especially not this long after release, so for it to be doing better than newer titles with more mass appeal, is surprising.

The only thing it has going for it are the platforms, but that series is a damn mess that it doesnt really matter how many systems it drops on. I mean 2K doesnt even care about the franchise, they're just trying to make it to the end of the license with their head above water(which by now is impossible). All indications are this years game will be the last one 2K makes as i believe the license is up this yr(possibly next). No one sees them renewing that license once it expires. The Show is going to have to step it up though. 2 years in a row they have had features not work as advertised. They can't rest just because they won't have any competition. Madden tried to do that and saw its sales begin to decline. The Show can't afford that.

I'll take 2k over the show anyday. The Show has gotten very stale and kinda boring. While 2k still has a big selection of problems, MLB today, my player, and the online make it well worthwhile to play. In saying that none of the games have ever even came close to MVP Baseball and I hope EA gets to do one next year.

The objective is to get coins by doing various things (such as landing on certain spaces and winning the mini-games), and use the coins to buy stars. Whoever has the most stars at the end wins. They're pretty fun if you have fours players and don't take them seriously; there are too many random elements for them to really be competitive.

If Gears is taking a break Microsoft need something to replace it. Now that there are so many good multiplat franchises, quality is more important than quantity when it comes to exclusives but Microsoft could still do with 4 or 5 series of Halo quality.

Fez, Steel Battalion, Battleblock Theatre, and Spelunky are the only ones that I'm interested in. Also, I'm 99% sure that Spelunky isn't an exclusive.

Journey, Ni no Kuni, Papo & Yo, and The Last Guardian. Also, I would love to play a new Atelier if Gust would revert back to the style they used in the Atelier Iris games on PS2 and get away from that moe ****.
