Man, Marvel Heroes got damaged and stopped downloading, and nearly 8GB completed download :csad:
I don't feel like downloading the game anytime soon
which place did you down load it from? I really think you should move over to steam and uninstall bit raider if you picked the latter from the site MH site it's self.

Put your plasma cutter replica back in its case and stuff your necromorph-stomping boots in the closet, because it looks like we aren’t getting a new Dead Space game anytime soon. In an interview with Eurogamer, EA Games label boss Patrick Söderlund confirmed that the space horror franchise is going on hiatus while Visceral Games works on something else.

But i thought I should put it up.

Rumor: Game Sharing Coming To Steam

Some buried code in the latest Steam client update has revealed something known as the "shared game library."

The "family sharing system," of the Xbox One is one of its most touted features, and will reportedly allow seamless game sharing between up to ten players on a single family account. Code diggers over at the NeoGAF formus have dug up a few lines of code suggesting that PC gaming platform Steam may be about to beat Microsoft to the punch.

The three lines of code allude to something called the "shared game library." Here are the relevant parts:

  • "SteamUI_JoinDialog_SharedLicense_Title" "Shared game library"
  • "SteamUI_JoinDialog_SharedLicenseLocked_OwnerText" "Just so you know, your games are currently in use by %borrower%. Playing now will send %borrower% a notice that it's time to quit."
  • "SteamUI_JoinDialog_SharedLicenseLocked_BorrowerText" "This shared game is currently unavailable. Please try again later or buy this game for your own library."

From this it seems pretty obvious what the system is about. It looks like you will be able to put games in a "shared game library," which you can then allow your friends (or family) to access. Obviously, you can't both be playing the game at the same time, so if you want to go ahead and play that title it'll kick your friend off it.

Don't believe us? You can actually find the three lines of code for yourself to verify. Here's how:

  1. Update to Steam Beta. Steam > Settings > Beta Participation
  2. Go to you Steam/Public folder
  3. Open the steamui_english document

This sounds like some pretty amazing news if true. My friends are often trying to push various titles on each other, having the ability to just say "I'll lend you my copy and you can check it out," would be really great, and would ultimately lead to more copies sold.

I finally got around to playing RE6, just finished Leon's campaign. I think the reception of this one was ubber poor, but it seems alright to me, thus far a lot better than 5 simply because your AI partner isn't **** when you're solo.

How's that Revelations game?

Before you think the game is alright, wait until you play Chris and Jakes campaigns. Leons was by FAR the best, its only downhill after that.

From what i heard, it was actually pretty good, at least for the 3DS, not sure how the transition was between handheld to console.

Oh, that sounds forbading. Does the style of the game change with those two, or are they just ******?

Yes to both. They become an action shooter and a damn platformer and both are handled terribly. I think most would agree that Leons campaign wasnt all bad, it had a good atmosphere to it and harkened back to the old RE days, but the rest of the game is NOT like that. Its one of the reasons that game failed overall, it was just too much of a hodgepodge of ideas, no real cohesion.

Well, that is disheartening to hear. How about Ada's story?

So, I mean...basically, what you're saying is that RE6 has one fairly solid 3-5 hour campaign, and the rest are pretty much butt?

Thats prob the best way to sum it up. I mean deff play it for yourself, but everything after Leons campaign is a disappointment. I mean you may enjoy all of em, but it seems that the consensus is Leons campaign is really the only good/decent campaign in the game.

I haven't played the game, but I've seen people argue that Leon's is the worst because that's the game pretending to be survival horror when it's really an action game.

Outside having more traditional zombies, I can't say I see that really. I mean, by RE5, they pretty much discarded the horror part of survival, so outside having critters, it didn't feel like it was pretending to be that.

So I just got my first job, and looking at the hours of both working and commuting, it looks like I'm going to have only 2-3 hours to myself when I get home. I'm kinda worried that this is going to affect my gaming. I mean other than getting the Last of Us and finishing my playthrough of Mass Effect, there's not much that I'm looking forward to until August, but I'm really going to hate not having the same free time to go through games and get trophies and all of that stuff.

I guess on the bright side, I'll be able to pay for my Launch PS4 pre-order.

Only 2-3 hours to yourself? That can't be just from work, right? That's pretty insane hours.

The Leon part to me looked to me like a Resident Evil movie (and I don't mean that as a compliment) and the other campaigns seemed straight out of some Call of Duty knock-off.

No I'm including the commute. My hours will be 9am-6pm, but its also about an hour and a half commute if I'm lucky, so I should be home by 8pm, but then I'll need to go to sleep early so I can get up early. I really hope I don't end up like my brother who used to be a hardcore gamer but then just stopped, but then again I guess that's just part of growing up.

I don't use guns in RE6, it's more fun without them

An hour and a half commute? ****, that sucks man. Why so far? Could you not find something closer, or is there some personal reasons. That's going to burn gas if you're driving.

I've been having a hard time finding a job due to no real working experience, so my sister-in-law offered to put in a word for me at her job. I went there today for an interview and they hired me. I'll be taking a couple of trains and a bus to get there, which is why it'll take long. I don't have a car or a driver's license, but even if I did, I heard it would cost more to do that. At least I don't plan on staying there longer than a year until I find something more in line with what I want to do, and something closer to home.

I hear that, it is rough out there. I returned from overseas work and am looking around now. Got a few bites. But yeah, it's good that you have public transportation. Takes longer, but I'm sure you'll save a good bundle doing that as opposed to driving.
