He’s taken himself out of the running for Bane, so I don’t know if he’d go for it, but given his stature and his growing dramatic resume, Dave Bautista playing Darkseid somewhere down the line is something I think I’d be up for.

I have no beef with that guy, but it will never stop being funny to me that that fanbase was absolutely furious about the possibility/likelihood of Ava Duvernay’s New Gods movie going with a different actor for Darkseid.

An actor that far from being A-list as the ultimate baddie in the DCU? If it was any other director, those nerds would absolutely not have it. But since it was that director, there’s no other choice for the role.
