For all the " Corenswet is Cavill" chatter, he actually reminds me much more of a vibe of another British actor , Cary Grant.

It's funny you should mention it, because when I describe Superman to people I always say he's more like "Cary Grant in a cape".

Infact if you imagine the charm of Cary Grant mixed the inspirational/aspirational qualites of Nelson Mandella and the intelligence/creativity of a Mark Watney (Matt Damon's character from the Martian) and you'll get our boy Kal.

Justice smith as Jimmy....yea that fits quite well.Dunno though if he may angle for a bigger role somewhere. Feels like hes done quite a few supporting roles in big movies.

I was going for something different with him as Perry. I feel Marsan is always the bad guy and perhaps bringing out a nice side but with a fiery passion for journalism could be interesting from him.

May I ask, did you get the idea after scrolling past the picture of Lawrence Fishburne that was on the previous page. I only ask because after I first read this suggestion I scrolled back quickly and thought the pic of Lawrence was Cedric.

I had been thinking the same thing and updated the post! I like Debicki better for Wonder Woman.

I definitely see Gunn using Debicki somewhere in the DCU.

Would really like her as Maggie Sawyer, she could even get a Meta Crimes Unity spin-off.
