Latest name being thrown around for Supes is Christian Finlayson, who starred in the James Gunn produced Brightburn as Fauxhawk. I never saw the movie but there's a reel of his acting on his IMDB page. It's decent enough I guess. He stands at 6ft, he has a pretty good look and a deepish voice. Not my first pick but if chosen I could see him growing into the role.

Yeah, he looks high school age/college age. A little too baby faced for my taste. Maybe in about 5 years. I think people are just talking about him just because people are like "Gunn loves his collaborations!" and Finlayson was in a movie Gunn produced. Personally, I'm rooting for Wolfgang.

Same. Want someone who's built more like an ox. Tom Hardy as Bane in TDKR is a pretty good approximation to what I'd want to see.

Vikings Valhalla star Leo Suter has an almost comic book level look for the role. He was always athletically built, but now really does have an almost perfect Superman body. He does prove that with enough time and the correct frame, almost anyone can be in that kind of shape.

Too bad he is not getting more attention, he would be almost perfect for the role. After Corenswet he is my second choice, but I could be very happy if he were the choice.

Yeah they just didn’t want Cavill and all the baggage his Supes comes with, plain and simple. That said, I do expect this Superman will be closer to 30 than 40. While I’m thinking Bruce will be right around 40.
