The Gunga Diner- Unofficial WatchMen Lounge

thats a shame, but you can still find "killing joke" shirts around (try "junk food.com")

They might have stuff like on EBay. They had some old Gambit shirts for sale once. :)

Hey Laurie still smokes in the movie, right? It'd be interesting to see how they pulled off that weird prop.

Also, Dollhouse was awesome. :woot:

They better; otherwise why's she gonna be touching the flame thrower on Archie? LOL

Oh no they didn't just send me WATCHMEN condoms! LOL

LatinoReview said:
@screenrant yeah and I just got an email to run a contest for WATCHMEN, and in it there is a pic of the condom as well.

Thanks. :p

I haven't seen too many young people wear bow ties, not here in New England anyhow. They do look classy depending on the wearer and the suit. :)

yeah, it all depends on the wearer...
Ooooohh man! I'm LOVING that Batman shirt! :woot:

It reminds me a lot of a set of two shirts that I had as a kid, one of Batman, and one of the Joker. Unfortunately they've gotten lost over the years and the several moves, and it pains me because just a couple years ago I realized.. the artwork was from The Killing Joke!! :waa:
aw, man, that must've been a total buzzkill...

Dudes, there is giant Watchmen display at my local theater. Im friends with one of the girls that works there, and they have an extra,so i might pick that up when i go see F13

I am not that much of an obsessed fan girl. :p

Just popping in to say, I saw the awesomest thing at Borders yesterday.

A little boy was sitting on the floor, flipping through Watchmen (I'd say he was around 10, but I'm terrible with kids' ages). His dad was looking over his shoulder, and the boy was telling him how cool Rorschach was. :lmao:

I almost wanted to tell him not to flip to the back...:o

I would think that was cool except for all the sex and blue penises that filled that book. :( :p

Might as well give this thread a revival

Barnes and Noble near my house has a pretty extensive Watchmen display. They had about 30 copies of the book, Absolute Watchmen, Who's Watching The Watchmen, Art of the Watchmen, Watchmen Film companion.

I could go for some chicken tikka masala right about now.

Is that for real? :wow:

I don't drink coffee but I might have to get that if it's real.

Haha, yes it's real! And it's very tasty :oldrazz: I ordered a couple of cans, and they got here pretty quick. The coffee is whole bean, though and not ground. Not a problem if you have a grinder like me (I am a coffee addict :D ).

I wonder if I took it to Starbucks if they'd grind it for me.

Eh...they probably have some rule about grinding coffee that isn't Peruvian in origin.

:oldrazz:

If you have a Kroger's grocery store around where you live, they may do it for you. I know many of them sell that Millstone whole bean coffee. My mom took some can's in before, explained she had no way to grind it, and asked if she could use their grinder. They told her to go ahead. Or you could buy a cheap one from Wal-Mart or something :cwink:

Hahaha, thanks for the advice Tink.

Anyone planning on seeing Watchmen again this weekend? I think I might.

Thinking about it. I've already seen it 3 times and I don't want to overplay it. But I might just have to (very hard to fight that viewing urge).

I know what you mean about that urge to see it and I've only seen it twice.

I've only seen it once. :csad: I'd really love to see it again, but I have a feeling if I do, it will be with a, uh, restless crowd. It seems the farther from the opening date of a film, the noisier the crowd gets over time. Well, it does at my theater anyway. :oldrazz: That's why I love going to midnight/first showings.

I've seen it 3 times so far, I think my next viewing will have to wait till next week unless I'm able to clear some time tomorrow.
