My only complaint about about the costume was the face of the mask. The lighting can give an implied eyebrows that just don't work for me. I even made a manip last year that simplified the face just like in this picture. So I'm all about the change, I really like the idea of the first mask crack and having a scar for awhile too.

I need to see more pics, but right now, I'm not liking the new mask better than the old. Too much emphasis on the cheeks now that they are exposed. The exposed chin/cheeks look only works well in comics, IMO. Chin and cheeks need some coverage to even the look out. Definitely, looks alot like the old Affleck look.

The suit already looks 10x better in motion and movement than from last season.

Not sure how we can accurately judge that from a few darkened clips considering we only got a little bit of that suit last season.

Are we sure it's a new mask or is it just the lighting? On the surface it looks a bit more like the Affleck one, but it's hard to tell.

I can't say for certain, but unlike the every other time in the last few months where someone says "yes, new suit! It's so much better than the season 1 suit" when it was the EXACT same suit... there actually does seem to be cause to believe that there might be some changes.

It IS dark but in some shots the mask definitely does seem to look different. And then there's the fact that when we DO see the current mask, it is very obviously damaged. Which gives a reason for a new mask.

And there's another part where the black parts around his shoulders look like they've been changed to red - it COULD be lighting though.

So I wouldn't bet my life on it, but it does look like there might finally actually be reason to think there is a tweaked suit design.

It's odd the mask seems black-ish in the front in the other shots. It wasn't that way in season 1, maybe it gets burned and then cut?

The front of the mask was always black or almost black in season 1's last episode.

Yeah I preferred the sides of the cowl coming in over the cheeks a bit more too (for the same reason that the current cowl in The Flash looks better than the first season 1 version), but I'll take a better sculpt and too-open lower face over a worse sculpt any day.

I've been trying to put my finger on why I don't like the new mask but I think I figured it out. I feel like it looks... Kind of cheap.

It's weird i prefer the shape of the old mask but the colours and overall design of the new one is way better.

The new one looks a bit too snug and makes the exposed part of the face a bit puffy looking i dunno.

Overall though I think it is a step in the right direction.

I really like the costume with the adjustments. It's has thew cl;assic elements yet it looks grounded and modern, fits the tone of the series. The new mask is beautiful, Charlie's face and nose aren't recommended for head gear but they managed to pull it off. I'm satisfied.

Also....people are never happy with anything.

Guys it's fine. The mask looks really good at first sight and the costume will get the DD. Try not to be so nitpicky .

Lol, I think this costume is by far the most divisive from the MCU to date. To be fair, though, DD has a hard costume to translate to screen.

If this is directed at me, sorry but you're wrong. I've been a huge fan of the final red outfit from the last season. One of the only ones on the board who thought it looked good

Yeah I also noticed that. Not that I care that much about the color of the suit, but there's definitely some change.

To be honest, only Dr Strange, spider-man ,pyslocke and Deadpool remains faithful to their comics book look...

All the other character have major adjustment to their looks..I dig the new mask..just add DD onto the chest, change all the black portion on the suit to red!

and boom! everyone will be happy

I like the design of the Daredevil suit, especially with the new mask he's gonna have in season 2, but the only change I would make would be to brighten the red to a shade similar to that of Deadpool's live action outfit. Daredevil's comic outfit is tough to adapt in general because the one color design can easily make him look like a gimp if no other color is added to break up the monotony. Personally though I still prefer the black suit, it just plain looks better.

Any Superman costume other than Routh and Cavill too.

The eyes need to not be sunken into the helmet, and protrude outward a bit. The promo pics of the mask do the latter and it makes him look way more like the daredevil we're used to.
