Daredevil The Inevitable Costume Thread - Part 2

Any comparison pics between the old Netflix one and the upcoming version? I’m just curious.
Never liked any of the costume designs on the show much, other than the all black Zorro proto-suit, though he is meant to evolve from that.

It has changed through the seasons, yet still seems a bit of a needlessly overwrought and disjointed mess, especially around the neck and ears, clunky belt, boot guards, random straps, flaps, black elements.
This must be how costume designers think?:

Well I can't just use the source material, that speak to the strength of the original designer and why it became popular and memorable to begin with, or how will people know it's all about me and what I added. :funny:

As with their "new" Bullseye costume, follows the more modern trend of being ashamed of the comic book axium that "costumes" existed, and it's all just been tactical "gear", as well as removing any recognizable themed logos.

DD Showrunner- "I guess the one lesson I drew is that superhero outfits don’t look that great in daylight.
Maybe it's them making overwrought disjointed mess that don't look good in any light.
Thank goodness DD mostly operates in the dark.
Though as with the previous versions, once seen in a more dynamic motion, you pretty much get used to it.

That said, I am glad he and the (mostly) Red suit are back! Can't wait for S4. :cwink:
