No Iron Man (Ozzy Osbourne) I am still dissapoint :(

I think I had enough of that song so I'm not disappointed to see its omission in this soundtrack.

I'm good with most of those bands --- AWOLNATION, Neon Trees, Andrew Stockdale, Imagine Dragons, The Wondergirls. Can't stand 3!OH!3.

Most of these bands are the bands I listen to, like Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees, and Awolnation, so I'm very happy about their inclusion.

But Nolan is God.

He's hardly immune to criticism (like everyone else) but I do consider him one of the best filmmakers working today, and that's not counting the Batman stuff which is really just icing on the cake. It's a shame rogue batfans always drag his name into things when they feel threatened.

Imagine Dragons is one of my top favorite bands at the moment, my others being Mumford & Sons and Coldplay.

But I also love Neon Trees, AWOLNATION, Walk the Moon, and Passion Pit from this list.

I'm beginning to listen to Redlight King, Capital Cities, and 3OH!3 because of them being listed in the soundtrack (plus Spotify makes listening easy), and they all have pretty good sounds. What don't you like about 3OH!3?

I found this very funny.

Gonna be honest. That soundtrack lineup is HEINOUS. But a "inspired by" rock soundtrack doesn't make the movie and maybe those happen to be the best songs by thos horrible bands.

Hey now, you don't need to insult people who are obviously passionate about their music. I mean, you might not like the way they sound Spuzz, but that doesn't mean that they aren't talented in what they do.

For example, I don't really like the rap genre, but I can't say that Eminem isn't talented.

How 'bout everything? :oldrazz:
To me, it's annoying as hell fratboy juvenilia about hoes. And then there's Katy Perry and Ke$ha thrown into the mix with 'em, and that's when I reach for my airsick bag

Maybe rock just your type of music, and that's fine, but calling those bands "horrible" is a bit ridiculous imo.

Well this isn't a music forum and I apologize for being harsh but to myself and many others like me those bands are quite bad. It's just an opinion. Last time I checked I was free to share it. Let's not get carried away here defending "bands" like 3OH!0 or whatever.

The front page has an article up that says there will be an Iron Man marathon on May 2nd, with IM3 playing at 9PM. The Avengers is included, as well. Marvel hasn't announced which theaters will participate yet.

I don't want to sit through the entire marathon, but I hope that my local IMAX will be playing the 9 o'clock IM3 show on the 2nd. That would be much better than a midnight show. It's about time that the theaters wise up and move the first shows back to a decent hour.

Last time for The Avengers marathon they had it with AMC theaters including the one located in Walt Disney World.

Yeah,I suspect Thor:TDW will get a similar deal with Thor1 and Avengers happening before the new movie in November. Cap likely as well next April. Not sure if GOTG will. Can't see the point there since it's a first in a series film.

So.. does anyone here care about the "Heroes Fall" soundtrack recently announced?

I'm just wondering because it's a wide departure to go from almost all AC/DC to a variety of Alternative Rock/Indie bands. (Not that I'm complaining, I love most of the bands doing songs for the soundtrack)

"Avengers Assemble" was mostly hard rock/metal songs, so I find it a strange diversion. Maybe it symbolizes the change of tone from Iron Man 1/2 and the Avengers.

Must be getting old as I've no idea who any of those bands are.

You old farts just aren't with it.

I think I know Redlight Kings, and I've heard one song from Imagine Dragons.. that's all I know. Haha.

Don't know any of them either. But I'm never up to date when it comes to music. I think even a year might have passed before I knew of Lady Gaga.

It's probably because they're mostly indie bands, aka "Hipster" bands.

Most of them are fairly popular and they have songs playing on the radio but they aren't as obviously well-known as other bands.

Understandable, I find most of their lyrics disagreeable as well (but I've grown used to this seeing as I disagree with the lyrics of a lot of popular music + I carpool with guys that listen to Lil Wayne), but I have no problem with the way it sounds.

I dont know if it bugs anyone as much as it bugs me, but its been an issue with all the IM's face plates. The armor's mouth isnt in line with Tony's xD

..and here we go again.

hmm.
