there's got to be more to mandarin. We won't get an Ironman 4 most likely in phase 3. There may not even be room for it. I'm sure there is more to mandarin's character than what has been revealed so far. Remember Fiege did say there will be things that won't be picked up on until you watch the film a few times. I'm sure there's more to mandarin

Well he could possibly be one of the Masters of Evil in Avengers 2, if they're included. Of course Obadiah can't be there, because he's dead. Whiplash too, I think. That leaves Hammer, but he isn't worthy enough to be a Master. The Mandarin is the ideal nemesis for Tony to face in the Masters.

TA wins movie of the year!! Damn, Avengers cleaned house tonight..haha.
Dang right it did :woot:
More than deserved it, I'd say.

Aren't LatinoReview the first to bring the GOTG connection post credit news first online?

Yup.
They even had dialogue and everything for their completely fictional "after-credits" scene. Pretty sure El Maybe is the one who had even earlier said that the post-cred scene would involve Ant-Man squaring off against Radioactive Man. Poor El Maybe --- he's just throwing darts in the dark now, hoping *anything* will stick.

Devil's advocate time: suppose *this* time El Maybe's got it right, and the post-cred *is* this anti-climactic (deconstructive?) "shrink" scene. I think what's missing here is the actual monologue from Tony. Whatever he's droning on about is likely to be the hint at whatever this scene is supposed to, well, hint at. Not to mention it might hint at a Hulk sequel, after all.

(Sidebar: over at The Site Which Shall Not Be Named, I was lol-lolling at the hosers over there trying to say that Banner's "I'm not *that* kind of doctor" line is a clear reference to Dr. Strange. News flash, CBM kiddies: Dr. Strange isn't *that* kind of doctor, either. :oldrazz:)

Anyone know when the critic/web site embargo will be lifted for Iron Man 3? No one that saw it can officially comment on what they saw until a certain date. When is that???

I'm hearing it's the 22nd of April.

That looks like James Badge Dale to me at :19 in that spot^

Doing my best to avoid spoilers. Without spoiling can anyone confirm or deny Mayimbe's claim about the IM3 stinger?

Another reaction from joblo.com

"It blows the second movie out of the water, It has some amazing action sequences that are on par with The Avengers. Robert Downey Jr. brings so much to this role that he is completely irreplaceable. Shane Black was a good choice for this one, as he injected his buddy-cop movie style towards thew end, and was able to balance great action scenes with a ton of comedy. I heard a lot of early trepidation about this one going for the bleak, Dark Knight style that seems to be so popular with Superhero movies these days, but that is not the case. This is by far the funniest Marvel movie to date, and handled with the same light touch as the previous films. This is a great addition to the MCU and makes me excited to go along for the ride for Phase 2."

:yay:

Jesus christ at the hate towards El Mayimbe. The premiere happened, if the people who saw the movie saw this after-credits scene, then it's there. I don't see why the guy would lie, seriously.

Because he has lied before?

Anyways, I believe it is probably real, I just hope there is more then one. These scenes are suppose to tie into future films.

My hatred towards El Mayimbe is based on his prideful, condescending attitude and belief that he is always right. But yes, he does get things right from time to time. I think the after-credits scene is legit because he has been wrong so many times the last 2 weeks, so I do not think he would risk making another wrong scoop.

Time to time? He gets a LOT of things right, and he's proven so. He's obviously bothering a lot of guys up at Marvel and such, remember GOTG, a lot of people were talking sh it about him because he talked about Momoa having the part, and then Batista, turns out he was always right, but negotiations are negotiations.

If anything, he tends to blow his wad a bit too soon sometimes.

And just tell me what are those things he got wrong these last few weeks?
