Damnit I bought my tickets already for 9:00 pm May 2nd through fandango @ an AMC, they better honor that or I'ma make a scene! I will call as well today.

I bought 8 tickets for May 4th at 7:30 PM, Fandango still shows my order receipt. Might just go to the theater and print the tickets out to have them.

I have yet to buy ticket, but I'm hoping this gets worked out as quickly as possible for the movies sake. I want it to freaking set records!
Long as I get my midnight screening in I'll be good to go, though. Got a brand new Avengers shirt that I'll be rocking to the premiere :woot:

For some reason, I've been listening to the leaked Iron Man 3 soundtrack a lot and I realized that I really like it even though a lot of people have been condemning it to hell. It's the first time Iron Man actually has a discernible main theme.

The first one had a theme too. And unlike that, I hope they actually stick to the new one this time.

Some caps of the Extremis Soldier shots.

Cool! They look Scary! Theses Eyes...

... but what about Firepower?

it's still my speculation that he is the one stealing the Iron patriot for the AF1 attack

Yep, either Firepower or Coldblood.

That top of the three Extremis soldier pics shown a couple of posts above could be Ashley Hamilton....hard to tell. Second one is definitely James Badge Dale (Coldblood). And Szostak, of course, in the third pic.

Just saw the soundtrack listing for Iron Man 3 and Its all teen pop ****.

Imagine Dragons, Passion pit, neon trees, 3oh3...wtf!?

Anyone else going to be a little disappointed if
Tony never confronts the Mandarin during the final battle. I'm a little concerned especially since the IM series might take at least the next phase or two off and Avengers 2 is expected to feature Thanos. Don't want anothe situation ala The Leader from TIH

Frankly, if IM3 does as well or even better at the box office as expected, I think Marvel will fit in IM4 for Phase 3.

Was wondering why I couldn't get a ticket for my local AMC theater yet...

They better get this crap cleared up soon! I WANT MY IRON MAN 3 MIDNIGHT SCREENING!

seriously, i tried to buy mine the other day

I kinda doubt we will be getting an ironman 4 in phase 3.

I'm not so sure. Aside from the Avengers, the IM films have been Marvel's highest-grossing franchise thus far. Unless RDJ bails out, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't make an IM4.

Plus, and I'm going only off the novelization here, it sounds like they set up for it in IM3.

If they do six, they could do Strange, Antman, Thor 3, Cap 3, IM4, and Avengers 3. They were going to do 6 this time around, but Antman got pushed back, but is still coming out in 2015. That is still 2 movies a year.

Little bit of it, yeah, go checkout the dont turn down music thread, I I think it's on the second to last page.

I never understood the advanced ticket idea anyway but I live in a big city where there are plenty of tickets to be had on game day as it were.

My AMC will just stage more showings at midnight and really can't sell out. I remember them shuffling the huge crowds to other auditoriums to see Spider-Man 3. Then again, not every AMC has 30 auditoriums to play with...

Disney is probably playing with the box office percentages. They get around 80% of the take for the first two weeks and it shifts after that. They probably are trying to extend their favorable numbers longer. It'll all be settled fast.

That's kind of unfair to say since Iron Man is the only Marvel Studios film with more than one film at this point.

Well it also wins on the one film basis as well. Pretty easily too. IM made a lot more money then TIH, Cap or Thor, coming out years earlier and without 3D.

It made 130 million dollars more than THOR, that's not THAT much more. Iron Man was also marketed alot better than most other Marvel Studios films, no one ever mentions that.
