At least they didn't do that for CA: TFA.It's just like to say I find it ridiculous that a film like this, made in America about an American character is released in the UK before it's out in the States.
Stupid.

The Cap sequel will most likely open earlier overseas, too
The Amazing Spider-Man sequel is opening mid-April in lots of overseas territories, they'll want to keep their space from itThe early April release date makes me doubt that.

That is bad logic imo. Why wouldn't they be able to build a fanbase alongside Iron Man? It makes little sense really.
Because they can only make so many movies. They're still just one studio. They need room to introduce more of the MCU.
People are going to need to realize that some characters just aren't worth the cost of their own solo film. Iron Man and the Avengers are so far the films that make the other films viable. You don't get rid of them to make "other movies".
You drop other character solo films long before you drop Iron Man.
Such a great moment. And it manages to stick out after having seen pure awesomeness!![]()
I think both Cap and Thor deserved their own solo movies, but I don't think Ant-Man warrants his own film, especially when other, better superheroes like Black Panther still don't have theirs.

So that Iron Man 3 mobile game is actually pretty fun.![]()

See, I like what Feige is doing right now. He's playing MCU like it's a counterpart of the comic universe. There can be movies that go on forever, years down the line. They don't have to be trilogies. Some can have one movie, some can have 40, there will be crossovers, team-ups, the whole nine.

That's one way to make everyone sick and tired of superheroes.
Then you tweak it so they aren't all just the archetypal superhero movie. Other genres still get play decades down the line, you just need to be smarter about it.
Hopefully Marvel doesn't think like that, because there's no future in it.
WB is quickly finding out that one character can't sustain them forever. As long as you create good stories for other heroes, people will come. As great as RDJ as Iron Man is, people will tire of it eventually. Something needs to take its place. I'm not saying you build a trilogy out of every hero. One-offs are fine. If it turns out to be popular, go with it.
And you're wrong about Panther, I think. The MCU needs minority characters, and he's one of the best. Plus, he's an Avenger, so he fits nicely.
Exactly. I'm not advocating for IM to never get a movie again. I just think they should wait a while.
