The thing about the C3PO comparison is that it's just a picture of Iron Man's armour where he appears stiff and not dynamic at all. C3PO is always very stiff and rigid when he walks. We need to see a picture of Iron Man in action. Even the previous armours could look stiff when there's either no-one inside them or it's not being animated. I don't think the gold armour will look the same as this display on film.

That said, I'm still not that terribly fond of this colour scheme. I do prefer red as the majority colour, and a darker, less cream-coloured gold.

I'd agree with you it it werent for the fact that he clearly doesnt.

The suit looks silver in this pic which makes it look 100x more awesome.

It honestly looks more menacing than his original suit. If you saw that thing bearing down on you with that blank look on the faceplate you'd piss yourself.

Yeah it looks more "robotic" for some reason, it looks pretty badass in my opinion.

I think the suits will eventually go back to more of the red and gold. I really think that, as others may have predicted, things are being set up for Ultron to hijack a lot of the different armors, and they'll look even cooler when they're under Ultron's control in the Avengers sequel. They would all look different enough from whatever Iron Man's suit in that film is.

So did filming resume and actually finish on IM3? I never heard cause now we have Jaime Alexander hurt on Thor but her's coincided with the end of her shooting for awhile so Thor 2 can keep on filming.

Did RDJ recover and they finished/wrapped principal photography?
I'm sure they aren't/didn't waste time and have had the f/x houses working on finished footage anyway though.
I want a teaser over the holiday season!!!

Yeah all the practical suits look a bit bigger with someone in them. They'll slim it down in post.
