Glover's prosthetics weren't even that outrageous. Looks like they mostly just used makeup.

The makeup is so good though that it almost looks like a mask to me.

Nightmare fuel Joker is something we haven't seen yet in live action, and there's so much potential to make him legitimately terrifying, would love to get that in a movie.

THAT'S who he reminds me of. It was in the back of my head but I couldn't place it. It looks like the super over-the-top prosthetics were deliberately supposed to look like plastic surgery.

Yes and no. Obviously heavily influenced by Michael Jackson, the Teddy Perkins episode also owes a debt to "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?", and "Perkins" is likely also a reference to the "Psycho" actor reference. It's a twisted episode overall. And totally easy to jump into if you haven't seen the show, it's more or less a stand alone episode.

I still say you should check out Barry more cause I think Hader could pull off the menace just as well as the goofiness that you'd pick him for.

I actually still think he'd make a fantastic Bruce Banner, but that won't happen

I like to get creative with my casting choices looks-wise. That, and I just think a more "normal" looking Joker can be pretty scary too. But, I'll humor the idea of him having prosthetics.

We often focus on his look but I think his voice is really great too.
