Blunt has been my choice since I walked out of Looper last fall. She totally won me over and I knew she could play it physically and kick major ass. I remember hearing that she's been training or something since then for a role?

Incidently, just realised that if she got cast as WW [and the Bale return rumour is true], then that would be an all-British 'trinity'. How do my American friends think about that prospect?

Blunt is the best choice for the role, IMO. She's not only beautiful but looks enough like the character that it really works, she's a great actress, she can play a badass AND a queen effectively, and she's a big enough name that it will create some buzz around the role. WB would be nuts not to pursue her, unless she really doesn't want the role.

Yeah, I would like to see a toned up Emily as WW as well.

Give me a toned up Lawrence, Wilde, Gemma or Blunt as WW and call it a day.

If you look at the pics of Blunt that I posted on the last page, you'll see she has the look down extremely well IMO. I think those pics were taken when she was training last year.

She's a good actress, has the look and we know now that she'll hit the gym like a madwoman if she gets the role and come out looking great, she has a big name that would sell her on the role, she can play tough and confident and evoke emotion, and she's hot. Bingo. She also just turned 30 a couple weeks ago. She's the right age if they get this going real soon.

That's because people were starting to connect her with the, now obviously defunct, Ms. Marvel role that she was supposedly attached to for Avengers 2. I was on board ever since I heard Batboy first mention her.

Yeah, i'd watch anything Blunt does. Very talented actress. She was initially up for Black Widow but her scheduling got in the way. Word is, Marvel's still looking to sign her and she's Feige's top choice for Ms. Marvel if they choose to introduce her.
