I have read the first 12 New 52s. Have to catch up on the rest.

But I haven't read any WW before that.

I shouldn't have just watched the Wonder Woman pilot. My eyes are bleeding like the kid in the opening scene.

In all honesty, that was an unedited pilot that got online. If it had gone to television, there would have been some scenes that would have been either enhanced or totally edited out. I myself was impressed with some of the action scenes from the un-aired (and unedited) pilot. Now, that being said, I still think there is a better actress out there than Palicki even though I have already gone on record as saying she will get consideration.

I agree she had more success, but she was still relatively an unknown that came out of nowhere really. All I'm saying is that the same could happen for another actress. Heck WW or JL could be Winter's Bone, XMen:FC or Hunger Games for another actress. All I'm saying is don't rule that out.

we gotta start scouting wondy like they do high school athletes yo. i brought hilary rhoda up a while ago, as someone who looked like wonder woman incarnate, and even though i said if, she started taking acting lessons, and if she had any talent, she could be one to watch in future. of course some misconstrued that as me saying she should get the role. anyway, i hear she's taking acting lessons.

I didn't know who to cast for Aquaman, which is why I went Canary. Funny, that's the line-up Bruce Timm wanted for the Animated Series before he decided on Hawkgirl cause Canary didn't sound menacing enough.

That would be a different scaling system. I haven't made it up yet for male actors. Age would not be as much as a factor for men, although acting skill, height, looks and (to some degree), and looks, would be factors.

Hillary Rhoda's taking acting lessons? Wow! I thought if we were picking model turned actresses/actors, it would be Mini Anden. Between those two, Amber Heard and Olga Kurylenko, my head would literaly melt before I can decide!

The new 52 Wonder Woman is awesome! Brian Azzarello has reinvented her origins. Although still an amazon, she is now a demigod. Hippolyta and Zeus. So she upraded .

I like the change, but wish it wasn't Zeus but rather Ares or someone. Maybe Ares and Hippy were in love and he cheated on her and that's why Hippy leads an island of Amazons that hate men lol. Or Ares raped Hippy and so WW has to deal with the conflict within her to do good and live by her Amazonian code, but also the rage and desire for war, conflict and to be the best and never back down that comes from her father Ares.

Well, there is a major arc surrounding Zeus and Hippolyta's 'affair' so I don't think changing that in any way was a viable idea!

I like the New 52s take on the character and how the story is being dealt with.
