That's another problem. You don't want somebody who looks too dark, it makes me as a fan go "This guy looks like a nutjob for a playboy billionaire, I would suspect him right away". You need a balance. Someone dark enough to pull off the real private Bruce and do well in the cowl, but someone who looks normal/goofy and playboyish for the women so you're like "Are you kidding me!? Bruce Wayne?? He's a billionaire doofus, look at him!". You have to look it for 3 characters pretty much. Bale had that down.

Evans is maaaaybe too much on the brooding Bruce side of things. "Bruce Wayne is Batman? **** now that u mention it, he does have a creepy look to him". Hence why he's playing Dracula!

I know it's an unpopular Batman choice cuz of his voice (still think he can fix it) and he's most our picks for Flash. But Gosling would work here. Because he's got the brooding, quiet Wayne down pat (Drive, Only God Forgives). The billionaire playboy who looks harmless, goofy. Dye that hair and ur set. Maybe the voice is a good throw-off. He's nothing but quiet in the suit. The Drive approach. Imagine him at a party, chatting away, acting dumb with women around him (think Crazy, Stupid, Love) then after the party he's back in the cave with Alfred around him and you get almost ZERO talking out of this guy like Driver when he's with Cranston's character. It would be such a great dynamic of extremes. And a fresh reaction to Bale.

Evans is too shifty looking. Not bad looking by any means. I just don't think he looks like Bruce.

But I convinced you once Rodrigo t:, here Ill try again. It's an outside of the box choice like Keaton was. Yes, im talking about Gosling. But that's the idea. Why did Keaton work? Cuz of his eyes. The intensity. His range. But Gosling in build, would be more suitable for Bruce than Keaton. But here's the clip I always come back to with Gosling/Bats. Look at how intense his eyes get. Picture him with dark hair here. BTW he's in much better shape nowadays so add that in to ur imagination. We all know he could pull of Flash or the billionaire playboy element but this scene always makes me think of brooding Bruce..

But seriously. I was saying his name for Batman AND Flash last year. Tons of people love the idea, tons hate it. It's very mixed. But I think it's only because they can't see the potential. The extremes of going into his silent, dark, violent self in Drive/Only God Forgives into Crazy, Stupid, Love playboy is why he should be an option. Ive heard he was looked at for it as well, but I wont say anything more on that.

That clip I posted on the page is why I think he would nail it. It's all in the eyes.

Damn. This is a fantastic manip. So Bruce Wayne. It's funny how much he looks like Bruce with this hair and how he doesn't look all that much like him with his blonde hair.

He already has the attitude for Batman/Bruce based on his previous films, but this picture needs to be reposted every time someone says Gosling doesn't look like Bruce. He looks exactly like Bruce from the 70s and 80s

I don't see why people are saying he has a high pitched voice. He has a normal voice, it's just not deep. Unless they're going by Gangster Squad which Ryan raised his voice in a feminine way on purpose for the character. Cuz he has blonde hair? Sure he fits Flash like crazy. But who cares about hair? Dye it and it's not an issue. Of course he can play a dark superhero, he played it in Drive! Which is a movie about a man who wants to be a superhero and has seen too many of those movies. Which Gosling and the director Refn have said.

Do not want Gosling as Batman at all. He's an absolutely sublime actor but his voice is all wrong and his jawline and chin is too narrow to work in the cowl.

Ok so maybe it doesnt have to be him. But his body type for the suit. I think its a phenomenal idea because honestly no one we've picked looks like the ideal bruce wayne from the comics. No one. The closest is Armie Hammer and everyone hates him apparently.

Actually Anson Mount and Matt Bomer look the most like Bruce Wayne as does Cavill. But since Cavill is playing Supes then Mount and Bomer look the closest to Bruce IMO.

Yeah you guys are right.... nothing like Bruce Wayne.

He looks like he would be a good Adam West Bruce Wayne lol. Armie Hammer to Bruce is what Brandon Routh was to Superman for me. Not necessarily bad choices, just not where I want to see the movie go in terms of actors and portrayal per se.

And Luke Evans looks too villainous looking for Batman. Never been keen on him.

Seriously though no Gosling for Bats. I was almost fine with him as Flash, but he better not come anywhere near Bats lol. Oh and those manips are good, really good, good job guys....but he still doesn't look like Bruce or a young John Hamm.
