This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]532635[/split]
It's not because Affleck hasn't shot any reshoots yet.
He did. He was in the UK for about 3 weeks.
Got an article on that because I don't remember that?
I'd prefer that. I don't want anything rebooted yet (some things can just be forgotten). I also don't really want them to be doing too much non-core material right now before they have properly built the DCEU foundations and all the Leaguers have had solos at least.
If they're going to reboot DCEU, it'll have to be further down the line. But Flashpoint is being put into production along with films like Wonder Woman 2, so I tend to think that it's a film by itself especially if it's based on Geoff Johns' Flashpoint from 2011 where Barry Allen is no longer the Flash and the Justice League members live in an alternated reality. IMO too much for the general audience to get around that concept if you try to tie it to the current DCEU.
I don't think the reshoots are a sign of doa as people are making it out to be. I believe Whedon is there to punch up the script like he has done for years. The difference being he's there to help edit the film in post along with the editor, and all the producers. I'm confident the movie will be fine by the time November rolls around. This is not the disaster Han Solo is, or Rogue one was.
Many of us think it's a definite good thing that Whedon is taking such an active role. Only Snyder fans who want just his vision should feel rightly aggrieved that they're not going to get that. For the rest of us who see Snyder as having his good points, but also many flaws, all this news about how extensive Whedon's input is can only be seen as a very good thing. Far from doom and gloom... things are looking up!t:
Some still do not understand what planned and unplanned reshoots are? The other studio plans the time and money for reshoots before production starts. so even if on Thor 3 they used also 25 millions its from the original budget. i think with JL they will spend extra 25 millions.
Yes, this is true. Justice League budget will be around 275-300 million, I think.

Tend to agree, my only gripe, as I noted elsewhere, is, no matter who's directing reshoots, no matter the film, 9/10 those scenes tend to stick out like a sore thumb due to physical differences in actors. Like, Henry Cavill getting his beard digitally removed def. worries me, but then again, I guess these computer wizards can do anything these days. While they're at it, I hope they add a little stubble to Affleck in the 'exploding penguins' scene. And I really hope Wagner is still acting cinematographer
