""Get some sour cream and onion chips, and some dip man, and some beef jerky, and some peanut butter. Get some Haggen Daz ice cream bars, a whole lot of Ha..., make sure chocolate, gotta have chocolate man, some popcorn, bread popcorn, graham crackers, graham crackers with marshmallows, the little marshmallows, the little chocolate bars. We'll make some smores man. Also celery, grape jelly, uh Captain Crunch with the little crunch berries, pizzas. We need two big pizzas man, with everything on them, with water, a whole lot of water, and funions, yeah."

For $2 Paypal, what movie is that from?

I miss smoking.

Congrats on stayin smoke-free

Never developed a taste for it myself. Though I spent years around people that did smoke, so I've probably still got Cancer despite my not smoking. Which is why I should just go ahead and smoke.

I'm keeping my word and not replying about the last topic. Not because I believe PJ won, but I don't care anymore. It is going in circles.

Then I am a fool on an errand!

I didn't mean to insult you. I was implying myself in a way, because Colossus IS one of my Top 5 X-Men, even a kid when I worshipped Wolverine. I stoped being a major Logan fanboy after I started college by about 18-19 years old and my appreciation of Wolverine has decreased, but Piotr is still there. In fact it has risen to resentment for the way he is treated sometimes by writers and whatnot. People **** about Cyclops, but at least he had Morrison's run to start the ball rolling again. The best Colossus has had in 7 years is Whedon and even he has limited Colossus to "Kitty's Boyfriend".

My initial reaction to the roster of Nighthawk, She-Hulk, Blazing Skull and Colossus was "That seems random, why not some of the X-Men who were Defenders?" But after that, now it has shifted to trying to analyze how Colossus would best be utilized, and then it comes to the dilemma of the fact this is one of the first teams where he isn't the strongest tanker and that may be a major disadvantage, especially since She-Hulk not only outdoes him on paper right now, but is probably more popular. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a unique shot at greatness. I am just saying that it isn't exactly a no-brainer. It will be a challenge from a writing perspective.

Pants'd be nice, but that's minor and more fixable than being underutilized on yet another damn team. THAT is my major fear here.

I wasn't insulted haha. You'll have to try harder than that. Talk about my dog next time :D

I hope Pete and Jen get along like Herc and Namora in WWH. He's obviously the "main" muscle but she's there to add any extra pounding if needed.

Duely noted. ;)

See, that's the dilemma; Colossus ISN'T the main muscle, at least on paper. Nothing Colossus has done has seemed beyond the Thing, who is listed at Class 85 (85 tons) strength. Some have argued that Thing's had way more feats of strength and notable showings than Colossus. But on paper Colossus has never been stated at being beyond 85 tons.

She-Hulk is listed at Class 100 now, as in around 100 tons. On paper she is stronger. She also is probably more durabile and can regenerate. She also has a varient of the Ovoid technique to swap physiques with people, and can see extradiensional spirits (linked to Bruce's power to literally "see dead people", as in ghosts).

On the X-Men, Colossus is the strongest one, but right now he shouldn't be as strong as She-Hulk has become during the Slott era. And since Colossus has been underutilized and mishandled on rosters where he WAS the strongest one, I am extra wary of this new team where he isn't. Follow?

In terms of "extra attributes", as I stated before, he doesn't need to eat, breathe, or sleep in metal form, and in the past has shown some resistance against some magical attacks. I suppose to play Devil's Advocate, since Blazing Skull is empowered via a mystical costume and the underground "Skull Men", it might be interesting if Piotr's defenses against magic, even if not complete, come in play during a story.

Speaking of Jen, you KNOW she has a rep for being a flirt, and Piotr just got things steady with Kitty. Granted, he's cheated on her before (Battleworld), but still...

Yeah, and I'm sure Namora could hurt Herc if she tried to. It's more about the woman knowing her place! :p

Haha, I just meant that Namora was fine with being "Muscles #2" even though she's plenty strong compared to Herc.

Yeah, Kitty is nowhere in the solicits after MC. The death in the AXM annual will most likely be either her or Lockheed.

I like his Ultimate one the best, but mostly because it's part of the "team" look

Bummer. I like both characters. :(

So you're saying Colossus would be fine being "Muscles #2" to She-Hulk? She's 100 ton class now, and Piotr has never been that strong. If he wasn't he wouldn't have been so underutilized. The last any source said was 85 tons, which is Thing class.

That is a new role for Colossus, which is where the angst for me comes in. I'm like, "he's been misused in his usual role, so why the hell shouldn't I fret when he is Muscles #2 to She-Hulk, who only is popular enough to have a million cheesecake covers and over 100 issues of a solo?"

I also look at teams in how the powers vary, and hopefully there are more than these four to mix things up a bit. Nighthawk flies, has his claws and enhanced strength to some degree; Blazing Skull has enhanced strength, immunity to fire, generally invulnerable, regeneration and can turn invisible, and She-Hulk & Colossus are two tankers of varying degree, just Jen is stronger and can regenerate and Colossus can resist gas (which, to be fair, has TKO'd Jen a few times in her career) and some magic.

Don't sugarcoat it. She's got a rep for being a ****. :o

You know what? If he gets a good amount of feats of strength in the book then I'll be happy. He can start building his rep while being Muscles #2; no rules against that

Maybe Colossus will be taking more of a leadership role, Nighthawk doesn't have the best track record and none of these guys would have any loyalty towards him.

Nighthawk isn't a half bad leader, and would probably do well. And given that it's a government team, they basically assign the leader. It's not up to the team.

Colossus proved in Phoenix Endsong that he cannot lead a team. When the time comes to make quick decisions with serious consequences; Petey often stops to consider his feeeeelings. :(

I'd be cool w/ Jen leading. She was a SHIELD agent
