Josh Harnett as Loki....

Josh Harnett as Loki....
Chris Pine looks a little young for Cap to me. I tend to picture Cap as more late 20s, early 30s. Plus, while he's good-looking, he doesn't exude that square-jawed, rugged manliness that Cap should have.I'm all for Quinto as Loki. And with Hemsworth as Thor and I really want Chris Pine as Cap it'll be like a little Star Trek reunion, lol.

edit: just to keep it on topic....zachary quinto IS Loki
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. As much as I like Quinto, I don't think he, or anyone else from Heroes, should be allowed anywhere near a superhero movie. It's just lazy casting.
if someone is right for the part then they are right for the part...i owuld agree that christian bale should not be green lantern because hes batman...and that hugh jackman should not be thor because he is wolverine....
...but heroes and marvel are not the same continuity. so i see no problems
SOURCEEXCLUSIVE MONDAY UPDATE: I've learned that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Thor director Kenneth Branagh have cast their Loki, the nemesis to the lead in Thor set for release on May 20, 2011. He's Tom Hiddleston, unknown to American audiences but an award-winning British actor and Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts (RADA) graduate who played Winston Churchill's son in HBO's The Gathering Storm. Marvel Studios won't confirm my news, but Hiddleston had been considered as a possible Thor. There had been a big Internet push to cast Josh Hartnett in the Loki role -- which is ironic since Warner Bros once upon a time threw money at him to play Superman but he refused. This follows the weekend casting of Chris Hemsworth as Thor since Branagh was in town to finalize the principal cast.

What about that story that they offered the Odin part to Ian McKellen? Any truth/confirmation about that?
