Yeah, okay well a string of box office flops over the last three years save for two (one of which she has a bit role in) in generally questionable movies says otherwise.

She won't even be discussed for Mary Jane. Could she be in the MCCU or even the DCEU? Absolutely. But it's not going to be as Mary Jane.
 
Seesh just cause a person may have a few flops doesn't automatically mean x studio may not want someone in film. Said films could have flopped for many different reasons then said actor being in it. She is still a rising talent. Folks like her. She is up and coming still and is in the age range if actors who are likely to test or be offered roles of mj, gwen, sally, kiz, etx...

But like I brought up before even if her name was toss around by marvel and sony. And if she was interested in any role. She likely wouldn't be free. Cause she is due to shoot that little mermaid film some time in summer. And met alone I don't even know where it's shooting in relation to Sm 17 shooting mostly in atlanta as we know.

If that was the case they wouldn't have cast her as Jean Grey last year either but they did. No one has blacklisted her the way you seem to think.
 
Ya If guys like Adam Sandler or eddie Murphey can put out crap flops here and there. And still get work. Moretz having a few flops is no biggie. Every big name actor is going to have a few big flips in there career or roles they wish they didn't do. They just move on and hope next project does better.
 
Moretz is too young for even a stream of disappointments to hurt her. If she were 28-30 I believe that her disappointments would hurt her and that's only because she has a lot of buzz on her. Eventually that buzz will have to pay off (with a box office hit and or awards attention) or harsh Hollywood will move on to another actress and things will be more difficult for her.

It's difficult to continue to talk about this because I think it's unlikely either party are interested in her being MJ.
 
^ Pretty much what I'm getting at. I'm not iterating that her recent string of disappointments define her in any way, just that they wouldn't be the thing to put her at the top of Marvel's radar, especially for a character like Mary Jane, whom she doesn't even seem fit for in the first place.

I'm not "blacklisting" Moretz nor am I saying she doesn't deserve to be in the MCCU, DCEU or whatever. I'm just saying exactly what ISS just said, there's no reason for either party to be interested or pursue this as an actual avenue when it comes down to this role.
 
Moretz isn't going to MJ or Gwen, probably Liz, but i'm not sure of that.
 
Just watch some Liana videos and then watch Stuck in Love and see who becomes your favorite. :)

I could understand that. Watching more Liana videos would just bring her down in my estimation even more, not make her the favourite for MJ.
 
personally for me if she was to do spidey i wouldnt want moretz as mj, maybe gwen or someone else. But i definately cant wait to see names and see who does score the lovely ladies roles for the film.
 
I want an unknown actress for MJ, or someone as famous as Tom Holland before he was casted. Doing small projects.
 
i really cant wait to see what type of actors marvel and sony do go for mj, gwen and others.
 
I watched Shadowhunters where Kat Mcnamara is a lead and well, the show is kinda terrible and so is her acting :/.

Honestly, I hope Marvel will do like Disney did with Star Wars. Daisy Ridley was unknown and she was fantastic in the role. It was refreshing to see a new actress as a lead.

Eh, it's probably more the show than her to be honest.
