Yup, I think you can, so you can still have direct control of each character at some point in the battle. You just won't be controlling their every move as you would in previous battle systems.

It does sound innovative, and they're trying to push the system forward with the times. I'm quite attached to the old system though. Hopefully the new one will grow on me with time.

You gotta move with the times as long as the changes are improvements

great with all the moves be able to input according to how you want them to react in battle.

story wise the have a huge world with a non linear way for you gamers to explore...more like FF XI

Its a great game but it can't top my top three best FF favourites . Final score 8.5/10

It has got to be better, since X's story was horrible.

FFX's story wasn't all that great. Certainly not a patch on FFVII. The first half of that story was perfect, though it maybe lost it's way a little toward the second half.

Not particularly new, but it was the first time I'd stumbled across it.

There's a lot of other stuff up on Youtube too, including the ending. Thankfully I was able to exert some will power and not watch it.

I see. Why didn't you complete VIII? I never completed X-2 or IX actually.
