I think so. She was in Girl Meets World years ago and now I guess she's a singer. Is this the actress Sabrina Carpenter?
Jake G. being an all-around great host combined with a solid Weekend Update joke swap was a good end to the season.
Really curious to see all the stops they pull out for Season 50. It's already been confirmed that they're doing another three hour special in February like they did for the 40th.

I'm also curious to see if there's any cast shakeup over the summer. Because it's such a milestone season coming up, I can't see anybody leaving or Lorne firing anyone. You would think that some of them might be on the chopping block with how little screentime they get like Punkie Johnson, Molly Kearney and Michael Longfellow but with the cast being as large as it is unfortunately that's the way it goes so I don't think that's an indicator of any of their runs on the show being over.
I like Punkie and I hope she sticks around but I'm sure they'll bring Maya back as Kamala for any VP debate sketch. She doesn't seem to have any problem coming back to SNL since she hosted and cameoed this season. Punkie only played Kamala in that sketch because she sat in the background with no lines. Usually I'm not a fan of celebrity guests coming in and taking parts away from the cast but I tend to be more lenient about it when it's an SNL alum like Maya as Kamala or Ben Stiller as Michael Cohen. They should keep Punkie around, especially with Election season coming up. When they did the State of the Union sketch, she played Kamala Harris. Sure, Maya Rudolph is great at it, but she lives in Los Angeles full time and might not be available to play Kamala like last time. They were able to have ScarJo play Katie Britt because she lives in NYC and is married to Colin Jost. Now if she free and open to playing Kamala, then Maya should return to the role, but if she's not, it should be Punkie Johnson. If they fire Punkie Johnson, and Maya isn't available to return, who plays Kamala in the inevitable "VP Debate Sketch?" or do they not do it at all?
So Kamala Harris during election season is either going to be Maya Rudolph or Punkie Johnson.....or you could have both in one political sketch, if the VP Debate Sketch is moderated by NBC News. You could have Maya play Kristin Welker (as she did the last election season) and Punkie as Kamala Harris.

Here's my prediction for the upcoming season after today's news:Someone mentioned that she'll be busy shooting her show Loot at the same time, so we'll see.
Here's my prediction for the upcoming season after today's news:
Provided Kamala is indeed the candidate (and odds are she probably will be) and Maya's availability, they'll try to bring her back leading up to the election for debate sketches, etc. As long as she can do it, they'll have her because it's too big an opportunity to miss for ratings, etc. If Kamala goes on to win the election, then Punkie takes over playing her much like how James Austin Johnson took over Biden duties from Jim Carrey after the celebrity stunt casting during the 2020 election season.
What I'm more curious about is who'll play JD Vance. I don't think they're going to lean on a celebrity cameo for him since the cast is so stacked. I would laugh my ass off if they got Molly Kearney to play him because I'm sure being played by a nonbinary cast member would absolutely piss him off.
Granted, that's all also assuming both Punkie and Kearney are coming back since there's been no cast news for season 50 yet but I have to assume that with today's news Punkie's maybe got a little bit of job security.
Could be, unless they have him cameo as Biden during Election season, which is a possibility.Mikey Day? Unless Day is tabbed to play whoever Kamala's VP choice is going to be
