I am so sick of the, "the movie has a lot of time before release. The CGI will get better" crap. We do not know this. Heck it is becoming more and more apparent that do to the short post-schedules, the early teaser shots are close to done because they don't have much time to go back and change them.

How many early teaser shots from other Marvel films have changed?

Um. I'm sorry but this has to be the most ignorant thing I've read in a while. I want you to go back and watch the first trailer for Avengers and GOTG, and then go back and watch the film. Or hell, even look at the 2nd trailer and you'll see the change in FX. The first trailers had a TON of unfinished FX.

Darth what's kubrick? Sorry I probably sound stupid for asking Lol Aslso helmet looks sick. I was hoping to would somehow retract and reveal his face but that seems like not to be the case. And I agree with most people here, whilst I thought it was a good teaser. Its definitely weak compared to IM3, TDW, TWS, GOTG and AOU teasers. This teaser felt more "personal" and less CGI, explosions heavy like other MCU trailers. Its just different Lol I dunno. However those few seconds of AntMan I saw I liked. Looked very cool.

I think the movie looks great, especially since it's only a teaser trailer. And for people who think this movie is doomed upon Wright's exit, I think this is an indication that it will be fine without him. I won't worry about the lack of action or YJ; they have to save some money shots for the full trailer, you know.

I'm definitely buying ticket to see this in the theatre.

Not how VFX houses work. Most artists are unhappy with the trailer shots because they're rushed, then go back to continuously refine them until release.

Early Avengers and GotG teasers avoided huge effect shots outside of the necessary shots of Rocket and Groot and the big final shot of Iron Man. Such shots are worked on for months to have them ready for trailers. They are specifically worked on early. And while I love, love, love GotG, it has plenty of less then stellar CGI in the final product.

I have heard this talk for years on here. The CGI will look better, it will. And sometimes it does. But it is a rarity that the quality raises to another income bracket and it is becoming more and more common that this stuff is locked early.

Same here. As a fan, the old man Pym concept has had me in a pissed off state about this movie but who am I kidding? That minute teaser had me grinning ear to ear. It looks like they captured the perfect tone. Acknowledge the absurd but use it to deliver a kick ass story.

Generally,I was pretty stoked with the scenes in costume.He looks great.And riding a flying ant!

The stuff I wasn't as keen on was the apparent "In jail" stuff.I felt like I got enough of that with GOTG.And the family drama...meh.

No villain....and was that Lilly in the trailer?Having seen it only once so far, I was barely aware of her.

So,it didn't exactly blow me away,but I wasn't disappointed,either.
