All the ants are wearing helmets & artificial wings lol. Still a shame that there will be no Wasp in the movie unless they shot Evangeline/Hope suiting up as Wasp in an after credits scene.

If you look at Kane GIF's above, that silver looking thing is probably more of a shiny ant skin rather than a helmet. Their skin or "exo-skeleton" is more glassy/translucent looking so that must be why it is so shiny.

That's a tall order, but if it grabs people, you never know. I remember back when people were saying "A talking tree and a talking raccoon??? Give me a break. That movie probably isn't going to hit $150M DOM or $350 WW."

Do we know when critic screenings are gonna start? The world premiere is a week from Monday (the 29th), so I assume they'll start sometime around then.

Funny enough, I saw a tweet from some guy saying that critic screenings don't start until the night before release. I checked the Twitter handle to see if this guy was legit, and it turned out it was just some high school kid who has a movie blog. Yeah, I don't think he has access to knowledge like that lol

You ain't alone. Marvel should, and I believe is, pushing some boundaries (most notably so far with GotG). Sometimes it'll work and sometimes it won't. Nobody bats 1.000, but when you strike gold, it's, well, it's golden.

That is a great shot. This might have the best visual effects based action scenes in the MCU.
