i gotta disagree with that blacks and Europe thing! i lived there for 6 years and if anything those dudes hated my ass for being American! all the time i would hear them say "you Americans think you are the %^& and think the world revolves around your butt!" which I was like well YEAH!!hehe
now the brothers from Africa! real Africans!!!they got treated like #$%^ but us mixed bloods!! the local foral and.. uh females loved us! (maybe it was all those myths! they heard about!t
and really i never had a problem with the dudes other being jealous! they also probably believed all those myths about that GUN/ VIOLENCE thing!t sometimes those things come in handy!)
they do think we all play basket ball which they found out with me that definitely aint true!haha!... but true Africans those dudes get no respect over there

I never complain about fashion trends. You pick any point in history and the previous generation thought the current one looked like ******s. Skinny Jeans and sagging? Eh. I used to wear super baggy jeans and sagged. I'm sure I looked ridiculous to someone. But you know what happened? I got tons of ass cuz I looked like that. If there's dudes getting ass cuz they wear skinny jeans that cover just their cavs while their entire ass is just hanging out? Then more power to em.

Isn't Europe also pretty racist, especially in places like Italy, Sweden, and the like?

I find trying to gauge which place is more racist than another sort of hard to quantify. Every where has some racism but how many people are openly racist varies.

As a general rule most black people in Europe feel Eastern and Southern Europe are the most openly racist but that doesn't mean everyone in those countries are racist or you will encounter racism if you visit those countries. I've been to Spain a number of times and have never had any problems.

My friend is a black Italian. His parents immigrated from Africa to northern Italy where he was born and raised. He said it was very racist over there growing up.

Do you think black people don't experience racism from cops in Europe as much as the USA because Europe has less black people being shot by cops while innocent?

Yes there is racism especially in the past but most cops don't carry guns or don't draw them on everyone they arrest so your not likely to be shot by the police.

They're awful at soccer games. They throw bananas and s**t... at their own black players!

That stuff happens mainly in Southern and eastern Europe where they don't have a lot of black people which means there are a number of ignorant racists.

The former Soviet union countries especially the poorer parts can be particularly bad. My cousin visited one of those countries and had a horrible time dealing with racists.

No offence but Soccer violence isn't as much as a issue this days as in was like 30 years ago. I think most Americans still have this idea of Soccer Hooliganism from the 1980's. There are camera's all over stadiums these days and security is better. Soccer is way more corporate and far expensive these days which puts matches out of the price range of the traditional young working class men who used to get involved in hooliganism.

Where in Europe did you live?

The only time I've ever heard anyone say negative stuff about the U.S was during the W.Bush administration and that was mainly aimed at the government.

Eastern European's get more hate in western Europe than any black people do. Romanian gypsies get treated terribly. People have racist views that Albanian and Bulgarians are viewed as untrustworthy criminals.

Has anyone ever met a black hipster? Most of the hipsters I've ever met were Asian.

You see some black hipsters or 'blipsters' in hipster Shoreditch or Dalston in areas of East London.

Basically they are all dudes who look like Devonte Hynes who is a Hipster producer/singer releasing music under various different names (Lightspeed Champion, Blood Orange, Test Icicles) over the last decade and producing songs for Beyonce's sister Solange.

Hynes is considered super cool by black hipsters despite his music being awful.

It's just kinda an oxymoron to me. Baggy jeans sag because they're loose. Skinny jeans sag because they're tight?

Never understood what a backpack rapper was.

See, there were these things called cassette tapes and in order to use these cassette tapes, you need a cassette player. In order to have a plethora of music at your disposal, you needed to carry around more than one cassette, which would be difficult to do unless you had some sort of carrying device to store them in. This is where backpacks came into play. They were a perfect place to store all the cassettes (and sometimes spraypaint and maybe even now and then... a book) that a backpacker would want to carry around to entertain themselves when wanting to tune out the rest of the world.

90s hip hop had many backpackers and at the time, it was considered mainstream. Then all that good hip hop went away and backpackers went underground. I'll go ahead and call Aesop Rocks a backpacker... but he sucks.
