Nostalgia; whole summers spent.
Looking at the final product, it looks like Tim mostly got his way. There's not a lot of big action in the movie.
Great interview, and brutally honest.
Not necessarilly, by that time we had already gotten great action movies like Rambo First Blood pt.2, The Terminator, Die Hard and RoboCop.Actually, I'd say that for the time, it was relatively action-packed.
Action movies just used to be pretty tame, I think.

But I think what you're trying to say is that superhero films at least for SFX limitations of the 1980's were smaller when it came to stylized action scenes.
A new interview with Mac McDonald (He played one of the Joker's goons).
Some interesting stuff about Nicholson, Basinger and the troubles that Burton was facing at the time.
That guy sounds pissed off because Nicholson gave him the cold shoulder.
I was thinking the same thing.I honestly can't think of too many moments where the stand-in would have been. In every scene Joker is front and center.
Yeah I'm skimming the movie now and I dont see it.
Maybe's he's talking about Batman 1966 where there was a stunt double...
