I just rewatched the ending of this movie.

One of the three perfect endings to a Batman movie.

Elfman just got Batman musically. Dark, yet heroic.

Lee Bermejo isn't the first artist I'd think of to do a B89 comic, but I'm there regardless. With his involvement, I don't imagine it being ongoing, but one could hope...

I've heard plenty of rumors that Basinger had her hand under the table to get that role, I don't doubt it one bit. Regardless of the complaints I still adore her in the film.

I also find it hilarious that he flat out calls Ms. Basigner a "horrible woman" and then follows it up by saying that "He didn't hate working with her..." And of course, if you didn't like working w/ Kim Basinger, then imagine working w/ Sean Young given her own history (just ask Harrison Ford, Oliver Stone, Kevin Costner, and James Woods how they felt dealing w/ her)!? I really have little respect for someone who will trash someone else's reputation (w/o truly divulging into why or how things turned out that way) to a bunch of strangers on Facebook. It just makes Bob Ringwood sound insurmountably bitter.

It's also extremely unprofessional and petty I feel on Ringwood's part to constantly snipe at and name-call his former/past co-workers whom he felt wronged him, like Joel Schumacher or Kim Basinger at random to anybody who will care to listen to him.

I also wonder why Ringwood didn't just say what he felt to Kim Basinger's face (or tell Tim Burton) he he had such a beef w/ her? It just sounds very petulant and elementary to just snipe about her behavior (w/o giving out additional info surrounding what actually happened) on Facebook some 25 years after the fact? Like I said, I think that Ringwood was in part pissed that Basinger wanted to use her own costume designer, and therefore it was a huge blow to his ego.

I love Lee Bermejo's work, and I think he could absolutely nail the style and atmosphere of the Burtonverse.

As much as I'd love to see a graphic novel or comic series that serves as a continuation of the Burton series, I would even settle for a straight-up graphic novel adaptation of B89 that maybe expands on the original story a bit or presents the film's events from a different perspective.

First time seeing this and it's so fitting Jack's Joker would be paired with Harley Quinn. Without his portrayal, we likely wouldn't have ever even got the character.

Billy Dee Williams will voice Two-Face in The LEGO Batman Movie

Billy Dee Williams played district attorney Harvey Dent in Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989. Now, 27 years later, he’ll play the character’s other side of the coin.

The Star Wars hero will voice Two-Face in the upcoming animated project The LEGO Batman Movie, director Chris McKay confirmed on Twitter on Wednesday.

Two-Face makes his first appearance in 1995’s Batman Forever. The franchise switched directors (from Burton to Joel Schumacher) and picked up a new actor to play the villainous side of Harvey Dent: Oscar winner Tommy Lee Jones. Aaron Eckhart played both Dent and Two-Face in 2008’s The Dark Knight.

Reps for Williams did not immediately respond to EW’s request for further comment.

The LEGO Batman Movie boasts voice acting from Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Zach Galifianakis, and Ralph Fiennes. It opens February 2017.

Yup. I'm really hoping to get it in 4K UHD soon.

I have the impression that WB being one of the leading studios in the UHD format plans to release Batman 89 as well as TDK trilogy on the UHD format in the next year or so (though I hope they improve their methods of up-scaling by the time that happens).

Both times I saw Batman 89 in theaters this year, once at Cinemark and once at Alamo Drafthouse the presentation that was supplied by WB looked miles ahead of the Blu-ray transfer we have now. I was very upset when we got the 25th Anniversary blu with the same transfer, so a UHD release cannot come soon enough IMO.

There is a graphic novel of B89... I have it on my shelf even now; there is very little deviation form the film, but the graphics are quite good.
